Oct 28 2007, 3:46 PM EDT Really? Connery has no star? That's shocking. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: History has been made...again!
Nov 2 2007, 2:11 PM EDT Yes, but let's face it--the whole "Star" business is a scam put out by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce--all you need to get one is a concerted letter campaign from fans (or a studio looking to promote a movie). This is not to denigrate Moore of his achievements--he deserves a star solely for his UNICEF work-let alone fronting one of the most successful movie series the longest! I believe Brosnan has a star as well. Connery has an Oscar. Dalton would laugh if it was suggested he get a star. Do you find this valuable? |

Nov 3 2007, 12:10 AM EDT Poor Dalton. He is a pretty fine stage actor, but gets a bad rap for the being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Try being Bond at the end of the cold war with AIDS grabbing headlines. It's a recipe for a long career of Lifetime (TV for women) movies. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: History has been made...again!
Nov 3 2007, 4:48 AM EDT Dalton started out doing Lifetime movies. His interest was always the stage, and films came second--hey, when your first film is with Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn, it's all down-hill from there! He did his Byronian bit--Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, but as far as film, Dalton has demonstrated he doesn't give a rip. He's made all the money he wants to. He does work for the stage and any project that he might have fun with, like sending up Bond in the "Looney Tunes" movie, or "Hot Fuzz." These days, he's not hustling. 0 out of 1 found this valuable.
