A great loss
Sep 30 2007, 11:12 PM EDT It's been a tough summer for Bond fans - first John Gardner and now Lois Maxwell. What was your favorite Moneypenny moment? 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Oct 1 2007, 12:07 AM EDT I just saw this story on CNN. Terrible. She was, without question, the best of the franchise. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: A great loss
Jul 17 2008, 2:27 PM EDT The part in OHMSS when Bond puts in his resignation and Moneypenny changes it to two weeks leave. She know Bond needs the Service and the Service needs Bond....and genuinly careing for 007 and knowing what would be best all round, she in effect saves the day. This is real character development ,shes not just a bimbo "Bond girl". . As M says,"What would I do without you Miss Moneypenny." Do you find this valuable? |

RE: A great loss
Jul 17 2008, 5:02 PM EDT At Bond's wedding in OHMSS -- just before he leaves with the new Mrs. Bond, James shares a wordless moment with a teary-eyed Moneypenny: he gives her a warm grin and a chummy wave, then tosses her his hat, which she clutches tightly, like she just caught the bouquet. It's by far the most tender moment in the entire series. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
