Being a 42 year old guy, my feelings are Sean as #1, Rodger as #2, and believe it or not Dalton as #3. I never could get too much into any or the Brosnan or Craig movies. Sean set the stage with charisma, strength, and wit. Roger followed with more humor, charisma and wit. It's hard to follow these class acts as well as the story lines they were given to act.

I can't believe you have Dalton at #3! Switch #1 and #3 and you've got it right.

TV actor Barry Nelso gets a mention for his role as an American agent Jimmy Bond, but the first actor to play JAMES Bond is omitted from the list. Bob Holness (konw to British audiences for the teen TV quiz show Blockbusters) was the first in the 1956 South African radio apdation of Monnraker.

As long as he holds praise for Dalton then he's in my good books.

"who played jaws?"
It was Richard Kiel.
And my list:
1. Moore
Funny and still quite 'bondish' at times. Played basically in good movies. MR and AVTAK make an exception but still.

2. Connery
The first one. Do I need to say anymore?

3. Dalton
I gotta say this once more: Gave dark side for Bond but lacks the elegance and fun that Connery and Moore got.

4. Brosnan
I grew up in his era. Was 50/50 Bond actor. Unfortunately DAD lowers his value on my opinion.

5. Lazenby
If he played in more than one movie he could be 3rd. The ending scene of OHMSS was touching.

6. Craig
I don't understand...I just don't catch Craig as well as the others.

If that's true then it's pretty impressive they paid the extra expense to bring in Kiel. I mean, on the radio Jaws could have been played by a dwarf and no one would have been the wiser!

1. Timothy Dalton - My favorite. Very realistic, and the real 007 agent
2. Daniel Craig - Pretty good. I hate the way people constantly bash him. He's awesome

3. Roger Moore - even though his humor was overused on MR, FYEO and after represented his best side
4. Sean Connery - The original, pretty decent. Though he isn't my favorite
5. Pierce Brosnan - He's... ok. He has the charm, but he's just not James Bond.
6. George lazenby - weak, not a bond

Dalton isn't my favorite but he really is a good Bond-actor. I think Dalton should have appeared in one more Bond-film. Pity they didn't make The Property of the Lady.

I've heard more hilarious jokes from my grandpa.
But Connery sure is great no one can deny that he's the one who gave face to Bond.
