TO JP snuffy.Craig is still young and talented ,but he is nothing more than a successor to Sean Connery and futhermore , he is just a pirated edition of Sean Connery and is not an epitome of what Bond should be.Moore had his original style and his womanizing way may had been over the top but he just proves he is still the man in every girl's heatrs. So,stop snuffing

to CODEY.Your assessment has it's logics but your list should be the other way around. You must understand Bond should be cool like Moore and not has rebellious and frustrated as craig.Fancy getting your testes whipped. That's the worst scene ever in a bond film and it could only happen to craig. After all ,it's typical Craig

Let me be the first, and probably ONLY one to say it: I like Dalton best. His Bond is all business, and his physicality in doing much of his own stunt work greatly added to his believability in the role.

"I can certainly agree with this assessment"I was sad to see Brosnan go, but a shake-up was in order after the silliness that ruined the last hour of DIE ANOTHER DAY. Craig reminds me of Steve McQueen and he's the right Bond for the times. Do you find this valuable? |

"Let me be the first, and probably ONLY one to say it: I like Dalton best. I find it really hard to even place any one of 'em ahead of any one of the others. To me, each and every single one brings something to the role that the others didn't. Even Lazenby. If I had to name one who was the furthest away from the mental picture I have of James Bond, it would be Roger Moore by a mile. But good heavens, what a tremendous hole would be left in the franchise of the Moore movies were removed, even just the single stupidest one. I guess that's what a true Bond fan is. I agree with you about Dalton, though. I read Bond books, and the face I imagine on Bond's head is Timothy Dalton's. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

" what a tremendous hole would be left in the franchise of the Moore movies were removed, even just the single stupidest one.Agreed; as fashionable as it is to trash Sir Roger, the fact is that for many of us -- myself included -- Moore's 007 was the Bond we grew up with, and I loved him in those films. He appeared in some of the series' worst, no question -- but he also headlined some of the best. Do you find this valuable? |

1. Connery2. Craig 3. Moore 4. Dalton 5. Brosnan 6. Lazenby Based on acting skills. Although Moore played it tongue in cheek but I put him there for nostalgia and my aunt was his secretary; Do you find this valuable? |

1. Connery (early or late movies, he will always be number 1)2. Craig (immensely watchable - the modern Bond) 3. Dalton (brought something new to the role) 4. Moore ( Love him but he was "The Saint" & played it the same) 5. Brosnan (a mere imitation) 6. Lazenby ( sorry - no charisma) Do you find this valuable? |

Having read all the Ian Fleming books - and seen most of the movies, I have to say we have finally found the ultimate James Bond - "Daniel Craig." His portrayal of Bond's mix of raw physicality, sharp intellect, bitter cynicism, ultimate loyalty, - and deeply romantic inner heart fits the character best. I am very impressed - the others ( excepting Sean) - especially Roger Moore - are pansies in comparison.

1. A tie between Craig and Connery. CR is my favorite Bond film and Craig was superb in it, and Connery had FRWL,GF and TB, which are also in my top 5.2. Dalton. The Fleming Bond. TLD is a classic espionage Bond flick with nothing too silly like some of the others. LTK was a bit dark but still awesome and I appreciate them for trying something new. 3. Brosnan - the middle guy, I guess. A bit smarmy at times but still cool. I really like GE and TWINE. 4. Moore. A bit too "funny" for my taste, and he was hopeless in hand-to-hand fight scenes. FYEO and TSWLM were good tho. 5. Lazenby - my least favorite, but that doesn't mean I don't like him. Very good in the fight scenes but he only did one film, not enough to come into his own as Bond. All 6 actors have been good in their own ways and have given us some great Bond films over the years, but Craig, Connery and Dalton remain my 3 preferred 007's. :) Do you find this valuable? |

1. Connery. Original and best ;)2. Moore. Was the funniest Bond and got best one-liners 3. Craig. CR was very good movie but QOS was awful. Sometimes he was very good but sometimes very bad. 4. Dalton. His movies was more like as Fleming wrote. TLD was good but LTK wasnt really good. 5. Lazenby. He did only one film, didnt show us enough what Bond he was. 6. Brosnan. He got boring movies, only GE was good. He was little too modern for me. Got worst one-liners. Do you find this valuable? |

1. Moore. Gave his best and even the most average years to Bond. Had good one-liners and movies. Is like Bond even in the real life.2. Connery. The original. No matter what. Was in the most classic movies of the franchise but lacks that something... 3. Dalton. Gave a dark side for Bond and took a big leap towards the Bond of today. 4. Lazenby. Possibly the only one who hasn't "improved" Bond. But still the interpretation was great in OHMSS! 5. Brosnan. Could have been 3rd if he had better movies. Die Another Day was foretaste for the record low... 6. Craig. A joke. And no one laughs. Do you find this valuable? |
