The best Bond has to be Sir Sean Connery without a doubt. Then it should be Pierce then Roger then Craig. 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

I Think That Craig was for sure the best bond!!!!!!! Then Connery, then Moore, Brosnan, and then Dalton and Lazenby were tied. 1  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

It helps to break down Connery and Moore into eras:

1) early Connery (Dr. No - Thunderball)
2) early Moore (Live and Let Die - Spy Who Loved Me)
3) Brosnan
4) Craig
5) Lazenby
6) late Connery (You Only Live Twice - Diamonds Are Forever)
7) Dalton
8) late Moore (Moonraker - View to a Kill)

Both Connery and Moore devolved into camp after their 3rd or 4th film.

Can't say Craig's better than Brosnan on the strength of one film. Bond 22 will decide which of the two is best.

Next...Connery
Then...Craig and Dalton-They both seem equal.
Lastly...Brosnan and Lazenby"

I think you should do the same for Brosnan - Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies were much better films than The World is Not Enough or Die Another Day; I originally loved the idea of Brosnan as Bond but those last two were real stinkers. If Craig and Casino Royale hadn't come along I'd have given up on Bond altogether. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

This is my list. Brosnan's one liners were great, and his pysical fitness and perfect looks make him #1 on my list.

1. Pierce Brosnan
2. Sir Sean Connery
3. Sir Roger Moore
4. Daniel Craig
5. George Lazenby
6. Timothy Dalton

As a matter of fact I do, I a couple of Fleming's books. But I kind of shift away from the books when I rank on who the best is. I look to how the actor portrays Bond.
P.S.-Fleming's 1st choice to play bond in Dr.No WAS Roger Moore.

Moore is the best Bond. Then Brosnan, then Connery, then Dalton, then Lazenby, then Craig.

Craig could move up the list though, depending on the upcoming films. I'm really not a fan of this "younger, more fragile" Bond.
