Moonraker
Jul 9 2007, 1:45 PM EDT Ok, we all have our opinions on Roger Moore and Moonraker.I, personally thought it was good.Moore was the Bond that I had seen the most. But growing up with Brosnan,I hadn't even heard of Roger Moore. After I saw a few of his movies,I liked him as Bond 2 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 7 2008, 11:47 AM EDT My problem with More as Bond may not be with Roger More at all, but with the movies. The trend toward more and more gadgetry detracted, in my opinion, from the Bond stories, and More was at the center of this trend. The books were fairly gadget free, or at least the ones chosen were possible. I felt More tried to hard to be suave. Bond would never have worn gloves with the cuffs turned down. Bond was understated, and not terribly stylish, but elegant. More was too flamboyant. Do you find this valuable? |
