I've heard conflicting reports regarding Craigs Bond tenure.Some say he is signed on for just three, some say he is signed on for three with the option for a fourth (like Pierce) and some say he signed on for a total of five films. I'd like him to do as many as he can, as he's had a successful start and all. Five would be a good number! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I hope he stays 6 movies. Even if hes 54 I bet he would still be as kick ass knowing Craig! Normally I don't want my Bonds to be that old...unless its Roger of course! 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

After Bond 23 they plan on making another Bond film once every two years. If they stick to this then Craig would do his 6th Bond film the year he turns 50. I'd be fine with this, Pierce was 49 in DAD but he still did a great job. But I think 50 or 51 is the oldest an actor should be as James Bond. Still hopin Craig does at least 3 more though, 4 more would be ideal! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Normally I'd agree but this is Craig and I think he'd be very good still.Only time will tell, I suppose. If he works hard to keep well enough in shape for it then maybe. Moore was 55 in Octopussy but still managed to pull it off (I think this should've served as his swan song, he wanted FYEO to be his last). Connery was 53 in NSNA and looked a bit too long in the tooth by then IMO. GE was originally written for Dalton and I sometimes imagine what it would've been like as his final Bond movie, however Brosnan still did a great job with it and he deserved a better last outing than DAD. But CR revived the Bond franchise and if they can get Craig to still do another 4 - 5 films without his age becoming too noticeable then I'd be okay with it. A total of 6 Craig-era Bond films would be pretty awesome. Do you find this valuable? |
