I'll admit it...

in my youth Moore was my favorite. I like to attribute this to immaturity. Moore was, quite simply, the Bond I grew up with. I remember my parents scoffing at my notions that he was superior to Connery. Well, listen to your parents Bond fans. 6  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

You have to have been exposed to him earlier or have an open mind to appreciate Moore's films. He's no Connery, but he's pretty good as "Simon Templar as Bond". (still better than Dalton and barely better than Brosnan...though after my recent rewatch of OHMSS, Lazenby is gaining ground on him) Similarly his movies are unique and his better ones can only work with him the way they are. (well OK, I could see a more serious Bond in FYEO, but I can't see anyone but Moore in TMWTGG or Octopussy...and the jury's still out on TSWLM) Do you find this valuable?

I agree that Moore's numero uno of the 007's. His Bond pictures are awesome and it must irk your parents that you got the last laugh.
