The ending with the inflatable bomb and B-17

Interesting scene, I'm sure it received quite a few laughs back in it's day.

But I ask all of you a question pertaining to that scene (Bear with me and be inventive please):
If that really did happen, how in the world would you get Bond and Domino safely back on the ground???

I've always tried to imagine ways to land the plane while not seriously injuring or killing Bond and Domino.
Do you find this valuable?

The quick answer to your question is that Bond and Domino get reeled into the plane. The system (official name Fulton surface to air recovery system, but nicknamed Skyhook) had actually been around for a number of years before the movie (the B17 used in the movie was once owned by the CIA), and has been used since for various "extractions" by a various military and intelligence agencies. A variation of the system can be seen in the movie "The Green Berets", where a modified C130 is used. Hope that helps. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
