The Aston Martin started it all. From the Lotus days of Roger Moore to the more modern BMWs of Remmington Steele (wait, that other guy) the Aston Martin stands alone as THE bond car. 11  out of 12 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree with you sir, the Aston Martin DB5 started it all. I love the DB5 its a awesome car with great handling and everything. I actually own a DB5 I am still reparing the interior but it will be done in a month. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Sometime shortly before Thunderball, and certainly after "Goldfinger's" release I had a 10 year old's excited pleasure of sitting i the then new DB5 that belonged to a family friend's society page son (he was the VP of Max Factor, and MF's right hand man). Being a bachelor I'm sure this vehicle was to be more of a chick magnet than method to expend male fantasy moments. I do recall the natural wood trimmed interior (dash and doors?) in particular and hoping to be taken for a spin (but at the time being too timid to ask for a ride). And I have to say that that vehicle was just right for our beloved uber spy's steed (versus the original novel's Bentley, an auto more apropo for a Mister Steed...). I'll take an Aston anyday (as long as the trunk is packed with a Bell Rocketbelt) and it employs at the very least- rotating plates.
