MOONRAKER was the last Bond epic to truly enthrall the entire world. The film's influence/impact was sooo encompassing, in fact, the world was not enough.

The film's influence/impact was sooo encompassing, in fact, the world was not enough."It may have been a commercial success (it made lotsa money) but that doesn't mean everyone likes it. It wasn't that well received critically when it was released anyway. Sure, it had it's moments, like the pre-title scene and the Amazon boat chase, but that's about all I can think of that I liked. The hovercraft bit in Venice was the silliest moment in the whole franchise. Overall, I just found MR to be a retread of TSWLM, only not as good and with obvious Star Wars influence. FYEO got the series back on track, as did TLD, GE and CR, to name a few. Do you find this valuable? |

I think Drax belongs to the top 10 worst Bond-villains.I wouldn't say Moonraker is the worst Bond-movie. I know it was quite 'unbondish' but still more believable than Die Another Day , right? Personally I don't like 006. The way they maid that 00-agent vs. 00-agent was a bit clumsy. Or at least I felt so. Do you find this valuable? |

Just because he's been floating in space for the last thirty years doesn't make Hugo Drax any more a loser than Auric Goldfinger.
