Casino Royale. A good mix of action (but not too much) and espionage, much like From Russia With Love. No silly one - liners or over the top gadgets , just a good James Bond spy film based on one of the works of Ian Fleming. And Craig is a great Bond too. No wonder it gained so much critical acclaim upon it's release. Some people think that James Bond means as many crazy gadgets and supervillains trying to destroy or rule the world as possible. It's not. Bond is a spy, so espionage works best for me. :) 10  out of 16 found this valuable. Do you?

I think The man with the golden gun is the best. Don't ask why because I don't know how to answer. It just impressed me. 5  out of 14 found this valuable. Do you?

Although I do think Thunderball has a great mix of everything, then again From Russia With Love has all the intrigue one could wish for. But I have actually given this one some thought...goes to the reason we most of us are here. Although we all have favorites of all the previous Bond films, but the best is always the next one! Think about it, why do we go to the box office, to see what Bond will do next. So definitely the Bond not yet made...we always eagerly await the next 007 thriller. 7  out of 9 found this valuable. How can Thunderball be the best?! There are continuity errors galore and the last act is a mess!!!!!
