"Yeah. I reckon out of the five John Glen directed, FYEO was definitely his best effort. It went downhill with Octopussy, but I still found the film to be impressive. How can you like AVTAK? It was horrible! Grace Jones was creepy as hell! Do you find this valuable? |

"How can you like AVTAK? It was horrible! Grace Jones was creepy as hell!"Well... Because I did. I thought it was superb, and the most underrated in the series. I loved the action - Eiffel Tower chase, car scene in Paris, horse racing scene between Bond and Zorin, the fire truck chase in San Francisco especially and the final fight scene on top of the Golden Gate Bridge. The soundtrack was also quite a success. Once the film reached San Francisco, that's where it becomes truly exciting. The two locations in North France and especially San Francisco were incredible. I didn't mind Grace Jones at all, and Christopher Walken's part as Zorin was incredible - he probably made the best Bond villain I've ever seen, besides Blofeld. The plot is the other factor behind the success of the film to me, and better than Goldfinger's, despite being similar. Goldfinger went downhill once it reached Kentucky, boring location and not enough action. My only flaw with AVTAK, and even I agree with this. Roger Moore. He was too old and should have said never again after For Your Eyes Only. His age on Octopussy was a minor problem, but on this it is a whole new story. He seems to have aged 10 years in only two years. Still a good performance from Moore, and he was serious most of the film - similar to his FYEO performance. FYEO is amazing, OP is impressive, AVTAK is superb, TLD is great and LTK is poor. Do you find this valuable? |

"If you'd take that sentence^^ and swap around the titles AVTAK and LTK then we'd be in complete agreement. ;) I agree with you about Roger being 57 - 58 in AVTAK, it was one too many for me. I used to think FYEO shoulda been his final outing but I dunno... even OP was pretty good and Moore's age wasn't as obvious there as you said. It wwas a worthy entry overall and could have served well as Rogers swan song. I'm still of the opinion if Dalton was in AVTAK and the film was suited to his style a bit more (no Beach boys during the ski chase, less camp and a younger meaner Bond) then it would've worked. Dalton deserved more than two entry's, I say! Damned early '90s legal troubles... :[ Do you find this valuable? |

""I got me a regular Ben-hood down here, doin' ninety-five - minimum!"JW Peppah is a legend> Live and Let die has always been my favourite bond film and will remain so due to nostalga and the fact it introduced me to Bond as a child but I do think casino Royale is amazing, especially the free running scene. Quantom of solace has the best opening scene of a Bond film ever, however I found the film disappointing xxx Do you find this valuable? |

"Moonraker is still the best Bond movie of all."Yes along with The Spy who Loved me and You only live Twice it was the best. The decors were amazing and a touch of sci-fi really did Bond some good Do you find this valuable? |

"If you'd take that sentence^^ and swap around the titles AVTAK and LTK then we'd be in complete agreement. ;)Roger Moore should have stopped after Octopussy, his age in that was no where close to how obvious it was in AVTAK, partially because he had already done a bond film with Maud Adams and you could see those two potentially having another fling cause they already did. I would have seen rather Blofeld than someone else in TSWLM. But nothing bad in Stromberg either."[Link=resale rights]http://www.plrprivatelabelrights.com/plr-article[/Link] [link title="resale rights"]http://www.plrprivatelabelrights.com/plr-article[/link] [link:http://www.plrprivatelabelrights.com/plr-article|resale right] [L=Bad Debt]http://www.yourdebtadvice.com/category/debt-advice-guide[/L] Static Caravan Accessories Debt Consolidation Mobile Phone Deals Do you find this valuable? |
