The Princess & the Frog (and Samedi)

I know this is probably a stupid question, but am I the only one who sees a Baron Samedi vibe through the witch doctor in the latest Disney animated film "The Princess and the Frog"? It would have been weird for them to maybe homage one of the forgotten classic Bond villains...but nice/freaky too.

You are not the first. I am a priest of vodoun and the Houngan they drew is a priest of Samedi or it is actually Samedi himself. Eben the old lady with the yellow snake is Lubana. Check the name and see the image of Lubana and you will see that they have vodou through out.
