Sluggsy Morant, Sol Horror- TSWLM
Von Hammerstein- FYEO
Major Dexter Smythe-OP
Maria Freudenstein-TPOAL"
I like VonHammerstein and Maria Freudenstein. Time we have a German for a villain don't you think?

If they ever have SPECTRE again they should preview it where bond takes on Blofeld's niece because I think she was a villain in one of the 80's bond novels...I forget Do you find this valuable?

'For Special Services', by John Gardner. Her name I believe was 'Nena Blofeld. I read the novel. Right now I'm listening to 'Sirius' satellite radio, Armin vanBuuren 'A State of Trance 412 Area', Mainstream & Underground Club Music. Maybe the Bond films could benefit from some of this kind of music for a change, don't you think?

Yeah I think they should use music like this...I also wish more Bond movies had choir ahh scores like Moonraker had, that was one of John Barry's best Bond soundtracks, But I think Bond movies should have some scary ambiance music for nightime suspense

Youre welcome. Also, I like youre suggestion of Michael Madsen as one of the Spang brothers. He seems fit for the character. I dont think it would be a problem that he was in DAD. We've had an actor play a villain and an ally before. Charles Gray. He was Bond's contact in Japan in YOLT and then Blofeld in DAF.

Agreed Madsen would be a good physical Bond villain. I see him as Serrafimo Spang, with him being the cold killer-type who eventually has a good fight with Craig, and Edward Norton as his businessman brother Jack, the brains behind whatever evil plans the villains are up to next time. :)

Plus Maud Adams was Octopussy and....Scaramanga's girlfriend (can't remember her name!) in TMWTGG. On the whole Afghanistan drugs thing they may be getting back to having an unrelated opening sequence and this is just for that part whereas the rest of the movie's plot will focus on something totally different.

Well LALD was good becasue it involved SMERSH that made it better. I think If he Tracks Down a Drug Lord It better be for like what he did in madagascar In Casino royale like for 20 minutes not the whole movie although that would work nice for a Police movie But "00"s should take mission that save the world. The black market things isnt a good plot for bond Do you find this valuable?

"Quite agree, my dear man. Perhaps the plot from the Fleming novel 'Moonraker', where Quantum steals the latest Space Hi Tech info and Bond chases them down through exotic locales, to retrieve the stolen data. This might be the 'something bigger' you were talking about. But, please, no Bond in Space. Don't you agree?"
Bond shouldnt go in Space

Check out the soundtrack/movie w/ Sean Connery in 'Name of the Rose'. It was quite haunting, eerie, and suspenseful. As for the Afghan drug plot? Never again, sounds like 'Living Daylights Part 2'. More like the 'Moonraker' novel plot minus outer space. Quantum/Spectre/new villain attempt to/steal latest hi-tech space hi tech from 'NASA', Bond gives 'chase' worldwide exotic locales, w/ a riveting soundtrack to boot, along w/ a great title song by the 'KILLERS'.

Sounds excellent, I'm jottin down a rough draft for my Bond #23 plot idea, with possible use of the title The Property Of A Lady in mind, but might think of another one for it too. Might integrate use of 'MR' novel source, but I got a general plot idea for it I,m just polishin up the middle section. Will post it up soon (Spang Bruthas included too - yeah, I love the Fleming-like Bond films).

I don't think that will be a good idea.Perhaps it is the worst idea.People are sick and tired about Afghanistan and a Bond movie related to it will be a total armageddon.I would prefer something supernatural like Live and let die.Maybe something related to Halloween witch murderer with a sinister plot or something like that. That would be exciting Do you find this valuable?

Why don't they save time and just use what was suppose to be Dalton's 3rd film before he left. Do you find this valuable?

If they use the drugs in Afghanistan thing then I think it should just be at the start, and use it for a pre-credit bit showing Bond completing a smaller mission, before going into something different and bigger for the main plot.
