"I've never been a fan of the drug-related plot lines. What is Bond a DEA agent. "I agree I was never a drug-related plot line person...and besides It was done in the living daylights It worked in 1987 but If they take it in 2010/2011 their asking for trouble and boycotts Dalton did 2 drug related bond films and the were the low point of the series...well The Living Daylights was okay 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Afghanistan was done in TLD, drugs were touched on in both LALD and LTK. Unless they make it interesting and fresh, I don't know if it could work.

As long as they can adequately pull it off then I'm all for it. Drugs maybe not central to the plot, but maybe part of a larger pictire or something... Rumours for New York in #23, now Afghanistan... Howza bout some more exotic getaway places as well? Australia? New Zealand?... :)

Agree that it's been done and needn't be revisited. Would much rather see Bond go somewhere new. I was glad to see CR send Bond to Madagascar and QOS send send him to Bolivia.

Now in this day and time, I don't think so. Dalton already did two movies with "drug" theme even LALD did.

"i hope its not completely about the drugs, it should be a cover up for something biggerQuite agree, my dear man. Perhaps the plot from the Fleming novel 'Moonraker', where Quantum steals the latest Space Hi Tech info and Bond chases them down through exotic locales, to retrieve the stolen data. This might be the 'something bigger' you were talking about. But, please, no Bond in Space. Don't you agree? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Bond doesn't belong in space. As for the whole drug plot, I think Bond should have more of a challenge. He's an Mi6 agent, not a narcotics agent. Do you find this valuable? |

I'd like to see what happened to mr white. plus the end of the QOS video game hinted at guy haines appearing in the next one.i'd also like to see blofeld make a comeback. and i'd like to see Tim Curry play him.

It would surely give the Bond #23 a lot of 'creditability' and make for a grand 007 film. Do you find this valuable? |

When they took Bond to afghanistan in TLD it was excellent but that was in the 1980s and this is the 21st century. I dont think so!!! But if they do I hope its a cover up for something bigger.

Only if Bond is being sent in after a high-level target. This business of using 00 agents as drug cops is sort of overkill.

'00's' should do their 'Bondian' thing, not into drugs. Thats a job for Bond's friend @ CIA Felix Leiter & DEA agents, not '00's'. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
