I wouldn't put it in my top 5, but I definitely think that TMWTGG and also LALD are very underrated. Both have their moments (I like the gator hoppin' and the car chase thru Bangkok) and while they coulda been a little better at times, they are just good fun to watch and are more realistic and far better than MR and AVTAK. Good job by Christopher Lee, a classic Bond villain. :) Do you find this valuable?

It's close to my top 5 (sort of rank FYEO higher of the Moores due to it being a bit more serious...and it's impossible to touch my top 4 of FRWL/OHMSS/GF/GE), but it is one of my personal favorites. It's just hard to explain why it's so good, whether it's Hamilton refinding his swing after two weird movies, Moore easing into the role, Christopher Lee just rocking (with Nick-Nack), the easier, more realistic flow, the great Bond girls, the fun action scenes...it's just hard for me to think of anything wrong with this! On my opinion TMWTGG is the best!
Roger Moore brings once again the comedy(with the help of J.W.Pepper) but I also think that Nick Nack is funny. Just listen to that wheezy voice of his! And Christopher Lee is probably one of the best actors ever seen and he's not bad in TMWTGG either.
But the best thing in the plot is that Bond doesn't find the main villain by walking straight to his office. In TMWTGG 007 really has to work and think to find Scaramanga. Also the fight between them was exciting.
And believe it or not, I find Mary Goodnight very beautiful.

Christopher Lee fans may find it to their liking, but anyone viewing the film objectively will see it as nothing more than a series of set pieces shoehorned into a plot that's as stale as the novel that "inspired" it. Do you find this valuable?

I picture Mr.Lee as the 'Scaramanga' of the Fleming novel of the same name.

Same! Also with me, I read the books after seeing (most) of the films, so whatever Bond book I read, I picture whatever actor from that film as Bond. (Moore - TMWTGG, Lazenby - OHMSS, etc...) That's just how it is. :)

WOW and I thought I was the only one. Mostly for me I either see Sean or Daniel when I read the books.

It's sub-par Bond: laughable title song that sounded dated even in 1975, ridiculous henchman, and another embarrassing go-around with Sheriff Pepper sink this one quickly. Christopher Lee fans may rate this more highly, even though the horror icon isn't given anything interesting to do. M's angular headquarters are the most inventive thing the film has to offer. Runs neck and neck with DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and LIVE AND LET DIE for worst Bond movie ever. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hold on there my 'leggy one'. Worst Bond movie? Well...
1. TMWTGG
2. YOLT
3. DAF
As for 'LALD', it was a decent Bond outing for the 'Saint', in his first time as '007', wouldn't you say?

Take out YOLT and replace with MR, take out TMWTGG and replace with DAD and thats pretty much my list of least favorite.

And yes LALD is amazing, right up there with the classics.

19. My least favorite Bond film in the WHOLE series.
Dec 2 2012, 2:19 PM EST | Post edited: Dec 2 2012, 2:19 PM EST
People such as myself absolutely hate this Bond film with a passion because it has no intense scenes nor any actions scenes in it. The whole film was just a bunch of silliness with cheesy-ridiculous moments here and there throughout the movie. The car chase at the end was just boring, and that one part where Bond jumps the broken bridge in his car was cool, but unfortunately completely ruined by that stupid whistle sound. This is my LEAST favorite Bond film on my top 5 list. Do you find this valuable?
