Next Tournament?

We clearly see that fans want a vehicle tournament, but do we have any other suggestions? Do you find this valuable?

i would also like to see a vehicle tourney. better yet, how about a "best theme tourney'... Do you find this valuable?

Tournaments:

-Vehicles not just cars but Q boat, hovercraft, etc.
-Gadgets
-Henchmen
-Themes
-Villain lairs
-Best Kill by Bond i.e. Bathroom kill, chandelier kill, etc.
-Best stunt i.e. Ski Jump in TSWLM, motorcycle jump in GE, etc
-Plots i.e. rob Fort Knox, blow up Miami, destroy pipeline, etc
-Best line, not just from Bond but other characters too like Q's "Well, better at looking cleverer than you are" "I wish I could make you vanish" though I'm sure "Bond. James Bond" or "Vodka martini, shaken, not stirred" would win
-Best other 00 agent, though this would probably be a waste of time because they have little screen time and 006 would win, just a thought
-locales
-Best title
-Best ally, though Felix would probably win
-Worst Bond Girl
-Worst Bond film, worst anything else etc.
-Best pretitle sequence
-Best title/credit sequence
-And then much later on after the book club is over, Best Book

the possibilities are endless...

though of another: Best Bond Spoof i.e. Austin Powers, Johnny English, Flint, '67 CR, etc. (edited 12:04 am March 30) Do you find this valuable?

Why not to make a tournament for the best James Bond character? I found a vote from the internet and I'd like to see what do users of this community think. The results of the vote can be found here: http://blog.taragana.com/n/jaws-voted-best-ever-james-bond-character-21131/
As you can see from the list, it contains Bond-girls, Bond-villains, henchmen and associates. I've taken the freedom to plan how the tournament could be formed

A: We make tournaments for the best associate and henchman and put the four best villains, girls, henchmen and associates into tournament (16 contestants)

B: Same thing but we take the top eight from each tournament (32 contestants)

C: Yet the same but we take the top 16 from each tournament (64 contestants)

D: We make all tournaments again and proceed with the plan A,B or C

E: We put every single possible character in one tournament.

This is just an idea but let me know if you got interested.
P.S I don't know if Bond should take part also. His victory could be too crushing Do you find this valuable?

I like that idea but I say no Bond. Bond is the mastermind and would defeat all comers, this should be for everyone from the great recurring characters (M, Q, Moneypenny) to the girls, the villains, the associates (Felix Leiter and such) and anyone who even associates with Bond. (though I do wonder: how would we handle characters with multiple actors like M, Felix, Moneypenny and such) Do you find this valuable?

Thinking it a bit further over, I think I have an idea for a bit of set-up for how this would be set up:

I don't know how many characters would be in the tourney, but three seeds for each side of the bracket would be one of the following:
1. The "Bond 4", the consistant recurring characters who appear the most (M, Q, Moneypenny, Felix Leiter)
2. The four finalists of the Bond Girl competition (Honey Rider, Domino Derval, Vesper Lyne, Solitaire)
3. The four finalists of the villain competition (Bloefeld, Scarmanga, Goldfinger, Dr. No)

From there, we can pretty much nominate anyone (villain, girl, associate, bystander, etc). Dunno if 64 will be enough...and I worry we may not have enough for 128...but may just. (we have 128 for a One Piece tournament on another board) Then we do some organization (figure out seeding, who goes where and such)...then the fun begins. Do you find this valuable?

I agree with you TiqerAtaru. 64 contestants would be fine and Bond wouldn't take part. But I personally don't like the idea that M,Q,Leiter and Moneypenny would gain their place in the tournament automaticly. On my opinion they're Bond's associates too and deserve to qualify from the place in the possible Best character-tournament. I also don't like the idea that users would nominate the contestants. Rather I agree Mr. Anonymous in this case that we take the top 16 from villain, girl, henchman and associate tournaments. Sure it would be wice to hear out the opinions of the other users first.
But if we do proceed like Mr. Anon suggested we have few problems to solve:
1. Xenia Onatopp is in top 16 in both villain and Bond-girl tournaments. We would have to think is she counted as a girl or villain and by that we could take the 16th contestant from either tournament.

2. Jaws, Red Grant and Oddjob are all in the top 16 in the villain tournamet. Are they villains or henchmen?

And if we notice those problems, that would leave us 27 characters who have confirmed their place in the best character tournament: Blofeld, Scaramanga, Dr. No, Goldfinger, Trevelyan, Largo, Stromber, Zorin, Sanchez, Klebb, Le Chiffre and Greene from the villains and Honey Ryder, Domino Derval, Solitaire, Vesper Lynd, Pussy galore, Anya Amasova, Tanya Romanova, Fiona Volpe, Christmas Jones, Jinx, Paris Carver, Tracy Di Vicenzo, Solange, Wai Lin and Magda from the Bond-girls. That makes 27 contestants already. Do you find this valuable?

I'd rather categorize Xenia Onatopp to Bond girls and Red Grant, Oddjob and Jaws to henchmen. This categorizing would leave 1-4 free places in top 16 in the Villain-tournament depending on do Grant, Oddjob and Jaws rank in top 16. The fairest way to fill those places would probably be to take the villains with the highest support in the elimination groups.
