I remember Mr. Wagner in a very cool show on ABC.It was called 'IT TAKES A THIEF'. Like Mr. Dalton, he made the wise decision 2 not accept the offer. As Mr. Wagner said, he was 2 American. Timothy Dalton thought he was 2 young 2 portray 007. Tha ERN (008) 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Dalton was originally offered the Bond role for ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, but turned it down as he was but 22 at the time. He was then asked to assume the role in the 1970's but refused yet again, this time citing concerns about the direction of the franchise moving forward.

Fortunately, the Bond producers refused to take no for an answer and in 1987 Dalton became the fourth actor to play 007 in the series, impressing audiences and critics worldwide with THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS. :) Do you find this valuable?

He sure did. And very successfully. I think that there were other moveis going on that may have hampered Dalton's effort as Bond. Still he did pretty good. Tha ERN(008) Do you find this valuable?

I think Dalton would have looked better as Bond if they had given him a different hairstyle. The one Dalton has didnt suit Bond. Sorry beatle....i know you love the man but you have to agree. Do you find this valuable?

No -- of all the Bond actors, Dalton had the most impressive follicles. :) Do you find this valuable?
