So...I watched OHMSS last night with my husband. I used to watch it with my dad and he always stopped it when Bond and Tracy are skiing away together smiling, and for the longest time I am not sure I knew that there was more of the film to see, I watched the movie once or twice later on in life but I always kind of avoided OHMSS afterwards when I was older because of when I found out how sad the end was. But last night when I watched the film again for the first time in a long time, my husband had never seen it so he wanted to watch it ALL the way through...unfortunately. I realized as I was watching the very end I had actually NEVER seen it! I had always THOUGHT I had seen it (although for some reason up until about a week or two ago I had thought I remembered seeing the end and Tracy dying in a car bomb....don't know where I got that from!) but I never had which made the ending EVEN MORE DEPRESSING! I was like crying my eyes out...and then I was really mad because you never see Irma GET IT! ARGH! I mean in my opinion Bond shouldn't be going after Blofeld, he should be going after Bunt!!! I mean she was the one who pulled the trigger! Although did he actually see it was her who was shooting? I guess he was kind of ducked down when the shooting started....anyway, in my opinion it sucks we don't see Tracy avenged. Also I realized once again as I watched it that Lazenby really actually was a pretty decent Bond in my opinion!

"Nice story. Lazenby wasnt too bad."laz prob wouldve been better than dalton if he did 1 or 2 more films. he might even have been as good as moore. Do you find this valuable? |
