"okkk. y do u think he was a "GREAT" bond?"To begin with, he's an excellent actor. Have you ever seen The Rocketeer? He was lots of fun as the heavy in that. In his Bond movies he did a lot of his own stunts, which added to the excitement. Lastly, my wife thinks he's the most handsome Bond ever, and I know enough not to argue with her! Do you find this valuable? |

"i never said that hes not a good actor. i just dont like the way he portrayed bond, and i dont like the way that the series went with him as bond. Do you find this valuable? |

Its good acting on Daltons part. Thats how good he is. He would fit in good with 'CR & QOS', don't u think? Tha ERN (008)

Tha ERN (008) "you cant compare the bond of LTK to the bond of CR and QoS. theyre two different people, motivated by two different things. in LTK, he was more motivated by revenge. in QoS he was "motivated by his duty". albeit, you have to think that revenge plays a role in QoS. the revenge of LTK turned bond into a cold blooded killer out for revenge, a darker side of bond that i think is one of the low points of the series. i also think that it strayed the most from the literary bond. bond is a suave secret agent, who doesnt kill like its a sport. lit. bond would kill very rarely, using his mind, not his muscle, to accomplish his missions and fulfill his duty. Do you find this valuable? |

Tha ERN (008)"i know. whenever u have a job in law enforcement (police, marine, firefighter, etc.) there is always a great risk of death. but my point is that when working with terrorist organizations like the ones in bond, you can go in and kill everyone, or go on a killing spree. thats why i dont like dalton. he portrayed a darker side of bond, and took the series in a different way (a way that i didnt really like) he took it in a way almost opposite to the previous ones of connery, moore, and laz. Do you find this valuable? |
