That quote 'champagne and benzedrine' was from Moonraker, not Casino Royale. Plus he DID like vodka, switching to it after his first heart attack rather than gin. Bond drank plenty of vodka - the 'vodka martini, shaken not stirred' made it's first appearance in Live and Let Die.

As usual, the Guardian never bothers to check it's facts. 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Actually benzedrine appears in a lot more than just Moonraker. "check your facts" : ) Do you find this valuable?
