I'm delighted with the contest and vexed by the results. First Xenia loses out to Solitaire (Live and Let Die, really?) and then Pussy loses to Domino? *Sigh*. I had to go with Honey for the following:1. She was the first! 2. The 'looking for shells?' question - seriously. 3. The first in a series of classic names 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm glad to see Vesper out of it -- she gets a lot of momentum from the sheer popularity of Casino Royale, but I didn't find her that compelling a Bond girl... certainly not enough to be finalist. Would much rather have seen Xenia, Fiona, Tanya, Anya, Pussy, Solitaire, Melina, or TRACEY make it further than Vesper.Seriously, this has to be one of the worst lines in the series: "If the only thing left of you was your smile and your little finger, you'd still be more of a man than anyone I've ever known." Blech. That said, I'm happy to see Domino in the finals -- not my favorite, but a delightful dark horse. She gets my vote. Do you find this valuable? |
