"Thanks for clearing that up! Now we just have to find out if there was ever a line in the script making light of it that thankfully made its way to the cutting- room floor..."
There probably was

"There probably was"
I think so, too; I recall at least two opportunities where Bond seems to be trying to learn her full name, so it wouldn't surprise me to see a deleted scene show up on the dvd.

Well done.. a bit heavy on the action, but it's nice to see the 'young' James Bond who's still learning... This movie is definately a keeper... Do you find this valuable?

Enjoyable movie & Craig is a great Bond. That being said, the plotline meandered, I wasnt sure who all these Quantum people were and it was mixed up with Vespa's storyline and the villain's girlfriend's vengeance. I missed a really good villain too. Perhaps I will watch it again and try not to get distracted by the stunts plus Craig's blue eyes and cute tush LOL.

I agree with what a couple of people said about missing Miss Moneypenny & Q ....the opening sequence which was put at the end was a little offputting too. And how come he doesn't end up in the arms of a girl in the end? I know they are trying ot reinterpret Bond but somethings should be consistent.

I thought it was a nice twist putting the gun barrel at the end; it announces Craig's Bond has fully grown into the character and that the next film will be less about how Bond came to be and get right down to business. I also enjoyed seeing a Bond girl walk away (or drive away, lol!) once she and Bond accomplished their mission; it was a nice display of independence and who's to say we won't see her again in some capacity? What impressed me most about their kiss at the end is that it's something Bond genuinely NEEDS to do, having finally acknowledged to himself that yes, Vesper DID mean something to him and that he can't turn his feelings off completely, no matter how hard he tries; it's one of the great moments in any Bond film, imo.

hello
i'm from morocco .
I think Craig is the best Bond since Connery.
Sorry if you dont like him, but Craig looks like an agent (a strong body) who can realy kill people with his arms.

personally i think it sucked. it didn't really make sense it kept jumping from scene to scene. daniel craig was good but..he was too violent, doesn't really give the bond feel. NOT a bond top 10 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I liked the plot. I thought it was well developed, but certainly not obvious. I came home and immediately watched Casino again so I could put the gaps together. The Bond series seems to be starting afresh. I think Mr. White is SPECTRE's Number 1. I think SPECTRE will be revealed later along with Blofeld. During the opera scene you saw how many "aristocrats" got up and walked out upon hearing Bond via the earpiece device. I think they are SPECTRE members.

My critique is that the action scenes are way too fast. The "extreme" feeling they are trying to give them are actually annoying. Also, the dialogue was too fast, and too low in volume even in a theatre with a loud speaker volume.

I'm glad Bond is being regenerated. I hope Craig lasts at least another 3 to 5 films. I also think Solace should be pronounced with a long O. :)

I think Colin Salmon would've made a great black Bond.

at first, i really liked it. but that was because it was new and fresh. now that ive had time to think about it, i dont like it as much. the plot was stupid and not really present at all. personally i think the plot could have made a half hour movie rather than 1 hr 45 min. there was no point to the movie except for Bond to develop his character. there was a lot of other little things i didnt like too. Casino Royale was way better. i loved that one. i hope the third one is like Casino Royale, or even better, the older ones. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

"I'm with you on the Goldfinger thing. I really don't understand what the fuss is about there. If it was the same Bond there'd be a problem because he'd be, like, all "Golly, that's exactly the way I found Jill Masterson back in '64!" But it's a rebooted universe. Different Bond. That's alright by me. I do appreciate the subtle winks, like the Spy Who Loved Me reference, much better though.

QUANTUM is an enormous fail. I was the Chief Quantum Cheerleader around these parts, being all hopey-changey, going on about how cool it was to just toss out a hint about the master organization in CR without naming it, letting the suspense sink in. I still think that was a cool idea. It was just a massive blown opportunity.

I suppose from here on out they could confront one world-wide threat after another hatched by this evil insidious QUANTUM organization. But then it's just a carbon-copy of SPECTRE without Blofeld. Not good. Not good at all. QUANTUM has people everywhere...so that they can...steal water from poor people. Oh, I'm just shakin' in my boots here."
well its not that QUANTUM is supposed to copy SPECTRE, its supposed to be SMERSH, just with a new name. SMERSH was the original organization, in the first book Casino Royale, and came before SPECTRE. they just never introduced it in the movies. they did now and just called it QUANTUM

also strawberry her name was not mentioned in the film at all but it was in thwe credits. This is a big mistake cause they only called her "agnt Filds" in the movie. Surely the would have taken her first name out of the credits, no good Bond film would do that! Do you find this valuable?

It was AWESOME!!! I love Daniel Craig!! The scene with the Aston Martin in the car race was the best way to start the movie. I must admit though, it wasn't quite as good in some areas as Casino Royale. Like the fact that he's not much of a womanizer in QOS and other tiny things but that still doesn't change how hot D.C is!!! Do you find this valuable?

I'll agree that Daniel Craig is hot.
