Come now - it was always going to be Goldfinger in the end. CR was great, but GF set the bar and established Bond forever. Pussy Galore, Blofeld, OddJob, a great evil scheme, lazers, what more could you want?

i am a MASSIVE craig fan and have voted loads for CR but i must admit to oting for GF once as i watched on ITV on saturday and thought it was awesome

in my opinion, both movies had their highs and lows. but one thing they had in common was that they were both a turning point in the series, as well as two of the best movies. goldfinger set the bar to what bond films should be, while CR was the beginning of a new era (craig starting in what will be his first of many [so we best get used to him], bond is becoming more high tech, the series has restarted, just to name a few). in the beginning of this tournament i'm sure many of us thought it would be these two fighting it out for #1. this matchup truly was a battle of the titans.- koolkikij 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
