Live and Let Die

Live and Let Die was the coolest Bond film to me because of these firsts

First appearance of Roger Moore as James Bond.
First African American villain.
First appearance of Jane Seymour in any major film.
First time Bond smokes a cigar.
First time 007 kisses a black woman.
First times a bond song is nominated for an academy award..
First time sub-titles are used to denote scene's location.

And there are mant more first that made this film revolutionary and lend to Moore's iconic rise!!!!!

You left out that Bond traded in his little Walther for that big-ass Dirty Harry hand cannon too. Not exactly classic Bond, but still, very cool.

The film's downside: no Q.

I really don't think this film is as cool as you.....
Connery's first Bond appearance was much cooler
African villain was a little over the top
Jane Seymour... can't argue there...
Who cares what James smokes?
Who cares what colour the woman is?
A great song, but not necessarily the best
Who cares about subtitles?

Even though this film is good, but not a classic bond film, or revolutionary. Connery had that... and Q.
Do you find this valuable?
