A Bond Girl isn't just a girl that appeared in a Bond Film - she's the chief heroine, the one he ends up with at the end. If they bite the dust during the film, or if they're on the other side (enemy, or lesbian!) then equally, she's not a Bond Girl. By QoS there will have been 22 Bond Girls ... so where's the other 9? Be it about Belly Buttons or not, you can't miss out Maryam D'Abo, Michelle Yeoh, Carey Lowell, Daniella Bianchi, Honor Blackman, Loise Chiles, Diana Rigg, Carole Bouquet and Jane Seymour (name, but no pics) ... but then start including the bit parters like Naomi and Bambi (but no Thumper??). Daft thread. Do you find this valuable? |

Kind of like you can have a partial eclipse where you live, and then somewhere else they have a total one. A Bond movie is not a Bond movie if there's only one Bond girl in it. Besides of which, there'd be something unjust about making the decree that Teri Hatcher cannot claim to have been a Bond girl, nor can Sophie Marceau, Famke Janssen, Corinne Clery...etc. Now, if you want to eliminate the ones Bond never slept with -- Ivana Milicevic, Bambi&Thumper, Chew Mi, et al -- I'm with ya.
