I don't really understand how this works. Generally with these kinds of brackets, the teams are matched up based on a previous ranking. Not really sure how the random assignment will work. it seems like some of the better movies can get knocked out in the first round if they're matched up with another one of the better movies, and this would be due to the random matchups, not whether or not people preferred the movies that made it through to others that didn't. plus, if not all of the movies are in the first round, then that gives them an advantage. not sure why they're not all in the first round. If we put 24, or even the simple 21 films all in the first round, then it would simply be unfair! Think about dude, near the finals, someone is going to et a free ride, because of the un-even incruments.

When creating a bracket, thhe best thing to have is eithier a 2,4,8,16,32,64, etc........... man bracket. Then it is totally fair. But now we must improvise since we stuck with 24.

As for having the radomised, think about this one:

If we had them seeded, it would be just one of your old tourneys, where the better movies (FRWL, GF, CR, GE) would steal the sow. Now that their radomised, each film has a equal chance. Now wewont ave a usual finale - GF v.s. FRWL or Casino Royale v.s. The Spy Who Loved Me.

Lets have some fun with this! If a better movie is matched up a better one, then we'll see which one is better, wont we?

Possibly falls in the "too late now" category, but it is possible to arrange a 24-team bracket if groups of 3 face off in the first round. First round elimination would cut the 24 down to 8, after which you could resume a normal bracket. Also, if you wanted more rounds, you could eliminate only 1 of the 3 in the first round, so that the field was only cut down to 16, allowing for one more subsequent round... I WANT ALL MOVIES IN THE BRACKET! I feel that all movies should be given a fair chance. If you dont like the tourney so much, then by the will power of a moderator, just delete it!

Your right, it falls into the too late.............oh just forget it!

Um, I believe my suggestion was precisely that: a way to have ALL the movies equally represented in the bracket. Do you find this valuable?
