What do you think?

A different style for sure, but what do you think of Beyonce? A little poppy for me. I'll admit to being a Beyonce fan, but I prefer more of a sultry siren. What's your reaction? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Heck I wouldn't mind her singing the opening track. Should Barry come back also that would be a treat. Do you find this valuable?

These things always look like potential disasters in the making. But really, can you look back on 45 years of Bond and come up with an absolute train-wreck of an opening theme? I don't think it's gonna happen. If it does, it won't be Beyonce.

I really can't stand pop, but I think Beyonce hung the moon. She's radiant enough to light up a room when she walks into it, and she is loaded with singing talent from what I see. She's the complete package. Her acting talent is certainly decent, genetic perfection, or something close to it...much more common sense than Jessica Alba. Killer abs.

Anyway, more to the point of what she brings to QoS -- her voice box has a respectable range to it, and she can certainly throw some wind through it. I think she could give Mariah Carey a run for her money. Seriously.

She has the chops to deliver a great song -- it just depends on the song and the arrangement. Lord knows I've been pleasantly surprised before (Carly Simon, Tina Turner) and also let down (Gladys Knight, Madonna). Do you find this valuable?

Hopefully she can deliver by November, unlike Winehouse.

There have been quite a few unlistenable Bond theme songs over the years -- they can't all be Shirley Bassey, or even Tom Jones. Even John Barry, whose theme for You Only Live Twice is one of the only two Nancy Sinatra songs worth listening to, has his off days as a composer (All Time High always makes me dive for the remote control). But Beyonce is a genuinely talented singer, so unless the song is horrible to start with, we should be fine.

I was so glad to hear that they dropped Whiny Aimhouse. That was the worst piece of Bond casting since Madonna's "performance" (both in the film and "singing" the theme) in Die Another Day.

As was I. There was too many problems focusing around Winehouse, and it would has just been a problem if they had let her actually sing it.

I actually have faith in Beyonce. By the way American Girls, well most of them are, are hot!

We could do worse than Beyonce, the song is the thing. Chris Cornell will be very hard to top, but every Bond theme that is great seems like it would be hard to top. Spicy got it right on the nose "all time high" makes me nauseous. Dead on with the Nancy Sinatra comment as well. Do you find this valuable?

Beyonce is actually a perfect being that was artificially grown and hatched in a laboratory.

We're actually hiding our fat rolls from you guys. We got a lot of muffintops here in the states, for every body that looks like Beyonce's. Of course, I saw quite the specimen in the liquor & wine aisle half an hour ago...but still. English lasses are wonderful too. Like that Sara Alexander lady in "Coupling."

Beyonce seems like a logical choice considering the direction the Bond films want to take, getting younger views hooked so the Bond franchise lives on. Her music is very pop oriented, maybe we'll get lucky and she'll come up with something good. Can't be any worse the Madonna. Do you find this valuable?
