40. RE: The first 20 007 movies best to worst

"Good point. I'm still keeping it at #20 though."No argument there; what's frustrating is the producers actually took some chances with the first half of the film, but things take a sharp downturn after the jousting sequence. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Also, here is how I rank the Bond actors, even though I think they all did a fine job:1. Sean Connery (the epitome of what Bond should be; the perfect blend of smoothness, brutality, and humor) 2. Daniel Craig (the closest Bond has ever gotten to Ian Fleming's novelization; human, yet still brutal and suave) 3. Pierce Brosnan (comical, suave, and brutal all-in-one; a refreshing Bond from the brutality of the Dalton years) 4. Roger Moore (the goofy, yet charismatic Bond who will always stand out as a fine Bond for all generations) 5. Timothy Dalton (the dark, menacing Bond who gives a different, more brutal take to the role) 6. George Lazenby (with the exception of Craig, the closest Bond has ever been to the book; very good, yet sadly underrated Bond) Do you find this valuable? |

" The guy could not even make a film without a dubbed voice, and quite frankly, 50% of the scenes in OHMSS weren't even Lazenby! "George Lazenby did suck, so did Dalton. My list would be: [top ten 007 list] 1. Goldfinger 2.FRWL 3.Thunderball 4.you only live twice 5.Casino Royale 6.Dr no 007.Diamonds are forever 8.the spy who loved me 9.Goldeneye 10.The world's not enough 1 out of 1 found this valuable. "George Lazenby did suck, so did Dalton. My list would be: [top ten 007 list]God forbid, I should defend Lazenby, but I think George Baker's dubbing of the Hilary Bray scenes is well done and improves Lazenby's performance. And for the most part that is Lazenby doing his own stunts and fights. He didn't do that stunt from outside Piz Gloria hanging from the cable, of course..and they wouldn't let him ski for insurance reasons--Diana Rigg, either--she was kneeling on a sled. Dalton didn't suck. I rate him above Brosnan, Moore and Lazenby (but I can find something in all of their performances I like) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

The prelude movie of what was to come for then and now. I can just see how most of you Gents out there in 'Bond land' will disagree, but, thats fine by me. Thats what this Website is all about, to share your comments/opinions with everyone else James Bond. Do you find this valuable? |
