May 12 2008, 12:05 AM EDT I am sorta sad that no one besides me thinks that Lazenby is one of the best... he had potential... lets not forget Dalton did only two movies and they are some of the worst... but Lazenby's one and only movie... is in the top 5 of all time...this guy was good 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 12 2008, 1:10 AM EDT I thought Lazenby had great potential and given that OHMSS was very much like the book,I say if he did 3 or 4 more films he'd have been right up there with Connery.He needed to grow into the part of 007 over time like Sean and the others did.And it would have been a differant 007 world after him had he stayed.Maybe more along the original lines of the early movies...who knows? Too bad he left so early. Do you find this valuable? |

Many people consider him as ''A hollywood star trying to nail a play'' He was wonderfull, and tracy and te ski chase was the proving fact for all that. He had one commercial credit to his name when cast and that was for a chocolate candy or something. He wasn't treated fairly even by the director who told him that anyone could play the role. Imagine being on your first film and essentially being told you are of essentialy no value. Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 12 2008, 8:37 PM EDT I honestly don't agree with you guys. Lazenby was more of a pretty boy or a stunt man than an actor. "Extensive dubbing" is all that saved his performance. The movie was saved by an excellent supporting cast (diana rigg and Telly Savalas) and a strong plot. Do you find this valuable? |
