I liked this film in general, but I can't really consider it a 007 film, it was to dark. 2  out of 13 found this valuable. Do you?

I thought Bond was supposed to be a dark character. Should 007 movies be light and airy? Dalton was closer to the Fleming idea than Moore. This was prob'ly backlash against the Moore happy days 007 by the producers. Sort of the "reboot " of its time? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I dont feel abusing Cedric is appropriate. I clearly understood what he meant even though he mispelled career. No wonder you remained anonymous. Trying to protect yourself in future in case you make a fool of yourself no doubt.

The hell with you mate. I am not American you bastard, how dare you judge me, with you know nothing about me! Have you ever had a time with your keyboard when your hands roll over them, and you don't type what you mean? And it is 'english rule' not England rule. You must have failed grammar.

Oh dear! What is one to do?!

The producers must have thought Timothy was right for the role, they asked him 4 times to play Bond before he said yes. He is the closest physically to Bond described by Fleming. Timothy also read his books, seeking a character true to Fleming. I think if he was Bond today, he would be more understood where he wanted Bond to be! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes it was dark, yes it was good. Whole new side to Bond. I did like the direction the film went. Dalton pulled it off great,
I think only Connery could have tied with him on this film. (If Connery had done this film himself)
