Feb 16 2008, 2:27 PM EST I know... They say that Moonraker is the most fantasy-laden of all the Bond films, but I disagree entirely. In Live and Let Die, Soliataire's tarot tricks actually seem to work. Plus Baron Samedi surviving is like he's some kind of invincible god, as if he really is what his name suggests or whatever. Plus all of Kananga's gang actually believe in that voodoo stuff, which is pretty darn weird if you ask me. They're sensible, but htey still believe in all that stuff. So either Baron Samedi is invincible, or he's snake-proof. I think they're both pretty un-realistic. Do you find this valuable? |

Sep 1 2008, 4:49 PM EDT it's possible that rather than him being "immortal" he simply wasn't bit by the snakes, or if he was bit, used antidote. That makes a lot more sense than going so far as to ponder whether he is immortal, right? Do you find this valuable? |
