According to the producers Wilson & Broccoli. No Fleming title will be used for Bond 22, meaning any titles are ready used or any not used. Mabye one from Benson or Gardner's books. Mabye Faulks new 007 book due out sometime in 08. 2  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

EON has never expressed interest in acquiring any of the post-Fleming books, or using one of their names ("Licence Revoked" came closest to Gardner's "Licence Renewed" but even that was changed to "Licence to Kill" when market research told them that the word "revoked" might be over the head of American audiences (!!)).

So expect a completely original title--one that won't get into copyright trouble.

i wanted to say that QOS is going to be the best yet. I hoe since it is a short story it is not less than the normal 2 hours and 30 minutes of Casino Royal which by the way I have it in DVD and almost all the films except Never Say Never Agin which was not a real Bond film due to the Soundtrack. Either way, this film should be the first time that it is coming out early than later in November and a Sequel which is the first so far to date. I hope the filming is as exciting as the finished movie in the cutting room for. Sincerely fabolf007 Do you find this valuable?

It shouldn't be any shorter than any of the other movies. Even thought the title comes from a short story, it doesn't look like the film plot will be based much (if at all) on the short story plot. I am interested to see what role the short story (or minimally, the title) plays in QoS. Do you find this valuable?

It's probably a safe bet to say any Fleming titles used from here on out will be affixed to stories that have nothing to do with the corresponding Fleming story, and QoS (the movie) certainly falls into that category. Do you find this valuable?

Octopussy and the living daylight books were very very short. In fact im not sure if they could even be classed as books and bond was only in the octopussy book for a few pages but they made a movie around it. The part in the living daylights film which shows bond assassinating the sniper (which he didnt do) who in turn was to assassinate the defector was basically the whole book and they made that into a feature length film so i shouldnt worry too much about this new movies length.
