Blofeld unanswered question
I do like the concept of the Cat as Blofeld. However, there is one issue that this theory does not answer: Why is it the Blofeld (man or cat) does not recognize Bond? I have no theory just asking the question.

Charles Stross
Charles Stross explores this idea in one of his Laundry series books. Of course, the cat is one of the the Cthulhu.

Wiilard White was Blofeld...Comeback in Casino and quantum....
Ernst Blofeld was never killed by James Bond. In For your eyes only James is visiting the grave of Tracy, while he is called by M. M sends him an helicopter and a new training for Bond begins. On the roof of a building is a dummy in a wheelchair. It must appear it is Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Bond never got over the dead of Tracy, so M16 designed a project to simulate the death of Blofeld.
So that in FYEO was a training..... Years later we see in Casino Royale the sinistre Mr. WHITE. he has a special organisation with "people everywhere". Also he comes back in Quantum... and dissapears without getting killed. So that is why everything is open to let Blofeld alias willard white to comeback.......

Blofeldt
I'm actually really pleased that they're re introducing the character of Ernst Stavro Blofeld to the Bond franchise as I think it's another step back to the good old days of Bond. He was after all a classic Ian Flemming character which is much better than some of the nemesis' that have been created for the bond films e.g. Eliot Carver, Sanchez and some of the more forgetable Bond badies. Blofeldt was the greatest Bond villan and I think the franchise has suffered from the absence of such a brilliant oposite number for Bond to go up against. Having been created By Flemming himself and recuring in several of the books , why wouldn't he be the perfect opponent for bond to go up against? and as shown in movies like Thunderball and Goldfinger where the chief badie was a subordinate of Blofeldt, it always makes for a better movie if he is mentioned some where in the plot as still being the supreme mastermind behind it all and being in the present tense too, as in still alive in some suitably disfigured manner. And of course another subordinate of Blofeldt was Dr No himself! The original Bond villan and number two to Blofeld's number ONE.
Of course they could have it that Blofeldt has always been around in the intervening years since his last appearance in a Bond flic, but he's been so far behind the scenes that you never heard about him but he was always the mastermind at the top. Perhaps he was recovering from another horrible injury inflicted on him by James which was why we haven't seen him in ages? Isn't he being played by Kevin Spacey who although not balled like Donald Pleasance or Telly Savalas, he does do a very brilliant baddie when called for. And as for Blofeldt's cat; - well wasn't that also a feature of the classic books I think, him always stroking the white cat menacingly. I hope that the white cat makes a re-appearance too cause you cant have one without the other.

Elementary, My Dear Watson! its the CAT!
That is the most out there and from the mind of a insane person to think up. But then I am INSANE!. And this is totally TRUE! If you really step back and think. Yes Cats and dogs is a silly spoof on a solid idea. The idea of Ernst Stavro Blofeld being the cat is sheer magic. And far ahead of its time, as Ian Fleming was. Sick and warped at the same time. He Blofeld endures the test of time and explaination. Many movie characitors have used the same basic premise. Noticeably so the Quato one in the Arnold Swartzinator movie TOTAL RECALL. Where the guy is a midget in the stomach (much like a saimese twiin) of the host. But is the UNSEEN brains for the MARS freedom fighters seeking pure air to breath. Cats and Dogs used the XMAS tree flocking factory wheelcahir bound half dead owners empire to the same end as Blofeld. And yes folks this demonstrates very well Blofelds initals too or the
E.S.B Theroy = Eternally Sustainable Body Freaky huh? lololol

The Cat
It IS the cat! Kinda obvious really, when you think about it. After all, didn't the Ancient Egyptians worship cats as gods? Not forgetting those insidious usurpers in "Cats and Dogs"...
Cats Rule.

No. No. No.
No. Just No. Blofeld should be left dead. Yes, he was awesome. But they don't need to ruin him by making him part of Quantum, or something. I'm not even sure how they would bring him back. Kevin McClory's company will probably sue. Stick with Mr. White.

It's Dead and Gone
As much as you Die Hard Bond fans miss it, so do I. But, you gotta let go. Don't think we'll ever see Ernie Blofeld again. All evil things come to an end. As for Quantum, I've yet to see a 'SPECTRE' like death of a member/enemy yet. Maybe that's what the Bond Producers should bring back, 'SPECTRE' like deaths by QUANTUM, of it members failure to kill an enemy like in the earlier Bond films. Think about it Bond fans, I think this would be a very 'SPECTRE' like way of doing things, don't you think ?

blofeld
This is a really good theory but i dont think the writers would o so deep and misleading into the story, also SPECTRE is not in the next film its QUANTUM and neither is blofeld

Who's the new Blofeld?
It should be Udo Kier who played the head vampire in the first Blade movie.

Timothy Dalton would be the best bad guy if a former Bond would ever appear as a villain.
