Yes, she really did have "a magnificent abdomen" but I'm afraid her face just wasn't right. Way too much chin/nose...could cut glass with those things. They should've brought back Lisa Guiraut.
Here's one thing that bugs me every time I watch it.
Sharing a private moment with Saida, Bond is suddenly interrupted by some thugs and a fight breaks out in the bellydancer's dressing room. Bond cleverly engineers an escape involving hairspray, then takes a cab to the nearest pharmacy. In so doing, he uses his own alimentary process to recover the golden bullet that killed Bill Fairbanks, Agent 002. Yay, Bond.
Okay, here's the problem.
Who are these thugs? Why do they want to stop Bond? What are they trying to stop him from doing? If they were sent directly by Scaramanga, that causes big problems with the story later on. Perhaps they were trying to get revenge for Mr. Big, or Blofeld?

"so very true except Craig is the best not moore and in second comes connery then brosnan, then moore. so craig wins we y do we argue anyway. i know i know because its fun. k cu l8r."Okay, let's break outta the mold.
Who are those guys charging into Saida the bellydancer's dressing room? Why do they want to beat up on Bond? Other than the tried-n-true "It's time for a fight" it makes no sense to the story.

bond wanted dead
Okay, this is the thing I was talking about in that other thread.
In (just about) every Bond movie, it happens like clockwork -- Bond meets with M, finds out what the assignment is, flies off to the "trailhead" to get his first batch of clues or meet his MI6 contact. Once he arrives, he is attacked by whoever wants him killed. And it happens here, in Saida's dressing room. These are the greasy looking guys who ambush him, causing him to swallow the golden bullet she has stuck in her navel.
Problem: Andrea Anders sent the bullet so that she could proposition Bond to kill her master, Scaramanga.
Which means at this point in the film, nobody wanted him dead!
So who were those greasy guys in the Beirut cantina? What was their quarrel with Bond? They couldn't have had one, because nobody else in the film had one.

Just for gags, Havin a little fun with Bond Girls
"I don't she did. Christmas Jones did."Okay, who are we talking about here. Someone needs to organize our candidates.
1. Honeychile Rider
2. The bellydancer from FRWL
3. Bonita from Goldfinger
4. Paula Caplan
5. Kissy Suzuki
6. Tiffany Case
7. Rosie Carver
9. Mary Goodnight
12. Natalya Simonova
13. Christmas Jones
I think we'd have a broader candidate pool if we were talking about asses...or, just ignore the body parts, and let's discuss silhouettes. Now THAT would be interesting.
