The Villainous Tournament of Villains
Everyboy knows that the best villain EVER was Auric GOLDFINGER,instead Blofeld was the brain of SPECTRE and the responsable of Bond's only wife Teresa...

Goldfinger vs. Goldeneye?
Which Bond film do you think was better or more enjoyable? I watched these 2 Bond fims so far from my DVD collection.Personally, I found Goldeneye to be much more exciting with more action/machine gun battles/deaths yet Goldfinger is usually listed as one of the best, which I found as slow, boring, and the villain (Goldfinger) was too relaxed.
Why then is Goldeneye not ranked as one of the best films?

best movie is goldfinger
"Well, this is my favorite because (and this is only my opinion) this film, along with From Russia With Love - another favorite of mine, are the ones where the series was starting to take shape without going overboard with things like action, humor and gadgets. Sean Connery also really came into his own as Bond here as well. I see this as the quintessential Bond flick. Great Bond, great gals, great car, great villains ("No Mr. Bond I expect you to DIE."), great story and cool Q scene :)" Good points. Goldfinger is a very unconventional villain. Much more human and up front compared to the mysterious- almost super-villain personal of Blofeld and others.
I think what I like about the film is it's allowed to "breathe". Lots of airy out door shots with the golfing and Kentucky (love Goldfinger's country club lair). And they never stayed in one place for too long (the thing I don't like about FRWL is the how long they stayed in Istanbul). I think this is one of the more humorous films where Sean was really starting to get comfortable in the role. My favorite thing about it is how he foils goldfinger's cheats. And Pussy is my favorite Bond girl. On the down side, this seems to be the first film that made up its own obviously flawed science (think of the amount of urban myths this film generated). I also hate the fact that the Bond was fooled into a crash by that stupid mirror.
Not at the top of my list as an over all Bond movie but may be at the top for repeated plays :)

Fun With Villains
There have been NO good attempts of killing Bond because Bond always wins. But in my opinion Auric Goldfinger is the best. He's the only villain to actually have Bond locked up most of the film.

Villains for Bond #23
Martin Sheen has recently said that the rumors of him playing Blofeld are untrue. To be honest, I'm glad to hear this. Sheen could be a good Bond villain, but don't make it Blofeld. Lets have original villains or unused Fleming ones. My idea for Bond #23;
Edward Norton as Jack Spang - business/brains behind baddies schemes. Michael Madsen as Serrafimo Spang - cold-blooded hitman type who has a good vicious fist brawl to the death with Craig. What are your thoughts?

worst bond villain
Stromberg just seemed strange to me too. I just felt he was too distant compared to a lot of other villains, I never got into him. (even though I know the actor is just as respected and appeared in "The Longest Day" with Gerte Frobe/Goldfinger)
Probably Khamel Khan is close too...but the thing is, he was good when Octopussy was good in the first half. When the movie turned bad, so did he. And I don't like Bloefeld #3...but the sad thing is I like Bloefeld's other two appearances. (and the actor is much better in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" as the criminologist)
