To the world at large, this cute young redhead woman with a German accent posed as the personal secretary of Mr. Osato, but she was also an assistant for SPECTRE. Helga is persuaded to have killed 007 and have succeeded in her mission, but she cannot see that unfortunately for her, Bond frees himself and manages to survive.

How she is dispatched:

The next day, Helga, wearing a red tailored skirt and beige pumps, is working with Osato in the SPECTRE volcano base, where she assists her organization to capture a Soviet spacecraft , heightening tensions between Russia and the US. She and her boss are then suddenly called in the CEO's office for an urgent report. Helga worriedly looks at Osato and follows him. The CEO, Blofeld, has discovered that Bond is still alive and asks Mr. Osato and his young secretary why Bond has not been killed. Helga, who was sure to have killed him, is very shocked to learn it and says his death was in all the newspapers, but Blofeld is categorical. The secretary fears number one's reaction, especially as Osato places the full blame on her, saying that he ordered Brandt to kill Bond and she failed at her thankless task. Panic-stricken, the young woman argues that it is not only her fault as Osato had ample opportunity to do it himself too, but Blofeld reminds her that the organization does not tolerate failure. He lets Osato go but Helga stays looking at Blofeld, petrified. Greatly displeased with her inability to carry out her assignment, Blofeld decides to make an example out of her in a very nasty way. While she is summarily dismissed, he initially allows her to believe that he is going to let her live, but unfortunately for her, as she walks over a trap door Blofeld drops her into a pool of his pet piranhas. The unlucky girl is taken by surprise and falls in the water. Realizing what is going to happen to her, she vainly screams for help and tries to swim to escape her horrible fate, but the lethal fish immediately converge on her and she dies screaming with agonizing pain, as they litteraly tear her whole body to the bone. Osato and SPECTRE's customers watch in horror as the poor girl is quickly eaten alive and skeletonized, and he is strictly ordered by Blofeld to eliminate James Bond if he does not want to be killed like his unfortunate secretary.

How plans were foiled:

The beautiful Helga certainly has a wide array of marketable skills, but she is very cruelly punished for her only failure and is fed to piranhas by her boss Blofeld. Sexy Corinne Dufour is one of Hugo Drax's pilots and meets Bond at the airport.She takes him on a guided airborne tour of the Moonraker factory and then heads to Drax's estate. After Drax and Bond have had a very diplomatic conversation Corinne escorts Bond to meet Dr. Holly Goodhead.Since Bond is staying at the Drax estate, he pays a visit to Corinne's room. She was secretly hoping he to come in order to have sex with him, but 007 tries to find out information about Drax's plans. Corinne, who is only an assistant, tells him the few things she knows and they end up in bed. But when the young woman is sleeping, Bond slyly sneaks out to Drax's study to look for a safe or some kind of information. Corinne appears and inadvertently tells 007 where the safe is and with the help of his cigarette case and miniature camera, Bond manages to photograph some technical drawings. The young woman is very worried and fears that someone catch her with Bond in Drax's office, which is the case when Chang sees her.
Later the next day Drax confronts Corinne to tell her that her contract is terminated after she was seen with Bond in his study. As Corinne starts to walk away Chang, Drax's henchman releases Drax's Dobermans after Corinne. In a beautifully shot but disturbing scene, Corinne runs through a wooded forest as the dogs give chase. The poor girl manages to run quite far before the dogs catch up, and she dies eaten alive.

Death:
For her betrayal in showing Bond the safe, Drax orders Chang to unleash his beauceron dogs on her and she is torn apart. A very cruel death for a lovely young woman...

Bond later meets and beats Xenia at a game of Baccarat, before chatting briefly with her about her accent and lifestyle, including the forged number plates on her F355 GTS. The race and the card game signify the start of a highly competitive relationship between two very, very similar creatures.

Defining Dialogue:

During her 'love' scenes, and that term applies very loosely with Xenia, she occasionally laces in bits of her native Russian, most notably 'Lbumyeets' (Cyrillic Любимый meaning Darling) during her scene with Admiral Chuck Farrel, shortly before crushing his chest and lungs between her thighs and achieving orgasm, and 'Buliatch!' (Cyrillic Блядь! meaning Crap!or Damn!) following Bond's escaping her grasp in the sauna.
She also has the great one liner in the Severnaya facility, following her apparent killing of Natalya;
- Xenia: I had to ventilate someone.
Onatopp and Bond share some very competitive and sexy moments, most notably in the Sauna Scene. Xenia whirls around after being flung to the floor, a sexy, mischievous grin on her face. She's clad in nothing more than a robe, marked with an encircled 'GH'; Bond, clad in nothing but his trunks, has his Walther PPK on her.

Later in the scene, after she kicks Bond to the floor, she climbs atop him, before being forced onto her back by the secret agent, and after a playful squeal of delight, she strokes Bond's face.
- Xenia: Oh, you think y'can hurt me?
Xenia's also notable in this scene, more than others, for displaying her love of combined sex and murder, as she forces Bond onto a bench, climbs atop him, and begins to crush his chest and lungs between her bare thighs; however, her dialogue during this section is little more than orgasmic moaning, groaning and grunting, until Bond picks her up and slams her into a wall, resulting in a great follow-up to her last line.
- Xenia: So, you think y'can break me, eh?
Following this scene, Xenia's presence in the movie is lacking, until we meet her aboard Janus' train, and, upon Bond's assault via tank, she displays her excitement.
- Xenia: He's going to derail us!
And finally, in a follow up to a running joke between her and Bond throughout the movie, Xenia, upon rappelling down to body-kick James to the ground, gets him between her legs and looks him in the eye.
- Xenia: This time, Mister Bond, the pleasure will be all mine...
(After Bond loses his first Baccarat game to Xenia)
Xenia: "I hope the third is where your real talent lies." (referring to Bond's earlier quip that they share three same passions)

Played by the tall, leggy Dutch actress Famke Janssen, Xenia was an impressive 5'11'' in height, and must have weighed somewhere in the area of 120-150 lbs. With her raven-black locks, and dark, dangerous chocolate brown eyes, she was perfectly proportioned, and notable for her size eleven feet, which she puts on display during one scene in Goldeneye, as her toes curl sexily in pleasure, as she attempts to crush Bond between her thighs.
Xenia was also notable for her fine fashions, be they her taste in sunglasses, or her dress, as seen in the casino. She also had a penchant for sexy lingerie, which further distracted Admiral Chuck Farrel during their lovemaking, before she murdered him. She doesn't - she's an evil one. However, without her appearance at the St. Petersburg sauna, Bond would never gotten to the Statue Graveyard and met Janus.

Xenia has no bikini moments, they're more a lingerie/loose robe kind of moments; In the first instance, she leaps atop the Admiral she has seduced, kissing him violently, before biting into his chest, and then briefly stopping, pulling him face to face with her. She then slams him down on the bed roughly, riding him in a manner that both enjoy, until she begins to crush his chest and lungs between her legs, smothering his face with a hand before flipping over in bed, and properly snapping her legs around him, crossing her feet at the ankles for more pressure. Bernard Lee- Sir Admiral Miles Messervy The first M, Lee appeared in the first 11 films from Dr. No(1962) to Moonraker (1979). Bernard Lee appeared with Sean Connery, George Lazenby and Roger Moore. Seems to show distrust in Connerys bond at first then becomes closer to him professionally. Bernard Lee passed away in 1981 around time of filming For Your Eyes Only. Out of respect they put M`s character on holiday and had M`s lines transferred to Minister of Defense Sir Frederick Gray and Bill Tanner.
Robert Brown- Admiral Marian Hargreaves After Lee passed away, Brown portrayed M in Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, and License to Kill Starred with Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. Had little to no humor in his films. He is the only M to have James Bond`s license to kill revoked, seemingly showing no sympathy or regret in License to Kill. However, the quote "God help you, Commander!" right after Bond's escape contradicts this, showing he cares about his best agent. It is never stated on screen whether Robert Brown's character is intended to be Sir Miles Messervy (Bernard Lee's character) or a promoted Admiral Marian Hargreaves, the role played by Brown in The Spy who Loved Me, but his name is mentioned in the drafted screenplays.
Dame Judi Dench- Barbara Mawdsley/Olivia Mansfield The first and, to this day, only female to take the role, Dame Dench first picked up the role in GoldenEye. Starred in all 4 of Pierce Brosnan's Bond films and in Daniel Craig's first three films. Although she has shown disdain towards Bond's behaviour, she does however show support as she wants him to come home alive in GoldenEye. As M she dislikes many of Brosnan's Bond's antics as clearly stated in GoldenEye and her other films. Has him stay in captivity in Korea in Die Another Day. Her M's husband died some time between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall. She is the first M to face political pressure to retire in Skyfall. In the original continuity, her name is Barbara Mawdsley, as said in the original GoldenEye screenplay and Raymond Benson's novels. Her name in the Craig films continuity is Olivia Mansfield (as seen on the box containing her porcelain bulldog) and is later mistaken as Emma by Kincade. She is shown to genuinely care about Bond, almost like a mother with her son. This "surrogate mother" role was further explored in Craig's films, ending with her death in the chapel of the Bond family estate in Skyfall. She is the first M to die in a Bond movie.
Ralph Fiennes- Gareth Mallory He is introduced in Skyfall as a veteran of MI6 in Northern Ireland and the Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. His position gives him the authority to regulate MI6. He was once held as hostage by the IRA. He is ordered to force Judi Dench's M to retire. He is promoted as the new M after the death of Judi Dench's character at the end of Skyfall. His appointment as M marks the return of the head of MI6 into the Universal Exports offices once occupied by Bernard Lee and Robert Brown. Fiennes stated that he could not say anything specific about the role other than that it was a "really interesting part which is really quite fun".

In Fleming's novel "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", it is revealed that M's salary as head of the Secret Service was 5000 pounds a year (that was considered a lot of money in the early 60's) and an additional 1500 pounds as his naval pay (as a retired "Vice Admiral")

There are many stories as to when Moore's name was first dropped as a possible candidate for the role of James Bond. Some sources, specifically Albert R. Broccoli, claim that Moore was considered for Dr. No, and that he was Fleming's favorite for the role after apparently having seen Moore in The Saint. However, this story is often debunked by fans and Bond-film historians, who point to the fact that the series did not begin airing in the United Kingdom until October 4, 1962 - only one day before the premiere of Dr. No.

As Moore is older than Sean Connery, this is probably not true. Publicly, Moore wasn't linked to the role of 007 until 1967, when Harry Saltzman claimed he would make a good Bond, but also displayed misgivings due to his popularity as Simon Templar. Nevertheless, Moore was finally cast as James Bond in Live and Let Die (1973). He was great friends with Lois Maxwell the actress who first portrayed Monneypenny, they had attended drama school at RADA together.

Moore was offered the role on the condition that he had his long hair cut and lose some weight (during filming of the television show "The Persuaders" with Tony Curtis, he and Moore had quaffed real champagne instead of colored water and he had subsequently gained twenty pounds). Each time he returned to Cubby Broccoli he was told to lose more hair and more weight. "Why didn't they get a thin actor who was bald to do the part?" Moore opined.

In an attempt to distance himself from Sean Connery's portrayal of Bond, Moore deliberately smoked cigars instead of cigarettes and drank Bourbon instead of Martini, which is actually more in-keeping with the character of Bond from the books.

Moore also has the distinction of being one of the only two English actors to play James Bond (Daniel Craig being the second). Sean Connery is Scottish, George Lazenby Australian, Timothy Dalton Welsh and Pierce Brosnan Irish.

Moore also claims, that his Bond is more of a "lover" and a "giggler."

Moore originally showed interest in departing from the series after For Your Eyes Only but when the unofficial Bond film Never Say Never Again was produced in 1983, the Producers decided an established Bond would fare better against Connery's return. Octopussy performed slightly better than Never Say Never Again at the box office. Moore ended up staying on for one last movie.

Bond and field agent Eve assist on a mission in Turkey in which an MI6 operative has been killed and a hard drive stolen. The drive contained details of all NATO agents operating undercover in terrorist organisations. Bond and Eve chase the assailant, and attempt to recover the disk. During the chase, Bond is shot in the shoulder, but continues his pursuit, until he is shot from a train by Eve, who misjudged her shot. He is posted as "presumed killed" but survived actually, starting to live a life far from his duties, a life filled with sex and alcohol in a remote and sunny country.

Five of the agents' names are released onto the internet, with the promise of more the next week, and M comes under political pressure to retire during a meeting with the Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee, Gareth Mallory. On her return from the meeting, MI6 is hacked and an explosion occurs in the offices, killing a number of MI6 employees. On hearing the news of the attack, Bond returns to London. He is given a palmprint activation PPK/S by the new Quartermaster. Shrapnels taken from his shoulder help the MI6 to identify the man who used them, Patrice, and Bond is sent to Shanghai, where it is known the mercenary will shortly arrive.

Bond finds and follows the mercenary and witnesses him undertake an assassination, at which Bond also sees Severine. The two men fight, and Patrice falls to his death before Bond can find out who his employer was. Searching the assassin's equipment, Bond finds a gambling chip, which leads him to a casino, where he is paid €4million for the kill. Severine warns Bond that he is about to be killed, but promises to help him if he will kill her employer. Bond beats his attackers —with help from Eve— and joins Severine on her boat, the SY Regina. They travel to an island but are taken prisoner by the crew and delivered to Severine's employer, Raoul Silva. Silva had previously worked for MI6 and blamed M for his capture, torture and imprisonment by the Chinese. Silva kills Severine in a William Tell-esque game, but Bond overpowers his guards and captures Silva with the help of a helicopter raid.

Back in the MI6 headquarters, Q attempts to decrypt Silva's laptop, but instead of accessing the computer successfully, the computer has been programmed to access the MI6 computer system and release Silva, enabling him to escape into the London Underground tunnel system. Pursued by Bond, Silva uses the disguise of a policeman and attacks M during a public enquiry into her handling of the stolen hard drive. Bond arrives to join Mallory and Eve in beating off Silva's attack, and M is hurried from the building by her aide, Bill Tanner. Bond drives M and her car away from the scene and, after exchanging it for his own Aston Martin DB5, drives her to his empty and remote childhood home in Scotland, Skyfall. He instructs Q to leave an electronic trail for Silva to follow, a decision supported by Mallory.

At Skyfall, Bond and M are met by Kincade, the gamekeeper of the Bond family estate. The trio are only lightly armed with hunting shotguns, dynamite, knives and gas bottles, but they improvise a series of booby traps. When Silva arrives, Bond, M, and Kincade fight off the first assault, making good use of the Aston Martin's front machine guns (for the first time in the series) in the process, although M is wounded by Silva's men. Silva arrives by helicopter with a second wave, and Bond sends M and Kincade off through a tunnel at the back of a priest hole to a chapel on the grounds near the grave of Bond's parents. The second assault consists of firepower from the helicopter, with Silva throwing incendiary grenades into the building. The Aston Martin is destroyed. Bond detonates a stick of dynamite with two gas bottles and retreats down the tunnel. The resulting blast causes the helicopter to crash, killing a number of Silva's men. Silva sees Kincade's torch beam, follows and arrives at a frozen lake ahead of Bond. Bond attacks Silva's sole remaining follower, and the two fall through the ice, where Bond kills him. In the meantime, Silva makes his way to the chapel and forces his gun into M's hand where he begs her to kill them both. Bond arrives and throws his knife into Silva's back, but M collapses from her wound and dies. Bond inherits M's porcelain Union Jack bulldog after her funeral.
