There were no sex scenes in Dalton's Bond movies. In TLD, he only gets only one Bond girl, in LTK love scenes were made simple. Despite violence and swearing though, TLD and LTK was the cleanest Bond films.
Do you think Dalton is the Christian James Bond? Of course his life outside of Bond is different. But I don't know what his real-life his, of course he had a relationship with more than one woman. |

Cold War didnt end till 91,but in the 80's Soviets werent big threat, everyone was just waiting for them to self destruct, i like how in Casion Royale they modernized it, instead of Soviets the bad guys are terrorists, they made the switch from Cold War to Wat on Terror

Remember, Timothy Dalton is my #1 favorite James Bond actor! and I'm a big fan of Timothy Dalton!!! And I was born in the Timothy Dalton era!
Let's see... Heathcliff Prince Rupert Prince Barin Dr. Thomas Rock Basil St. John Neville Sinclair Boris Pochenko Julius Caesar Allan Pinkerton Damien Drake Amphitryon Simon Skinner Bancroft from HAWKS! I've seen HOT FUZZ and it was his second time to play a villain since The Rocketeer. I also heard that Dalton is playing a villain for the third time in a row, in Doctor Who! And he will do a voice of Mr. Pricklepants in Toy Story 3!

Timothy Dalton is my favourite Bond actor. I think he plays his role very good and comes near to the Bond in Ian Flemings novels.

Dalton is defyed as the other rouge agent. For those of you who don't quite like QOS, would Dalton make the film better? I personally think so but whats your verdict?

As an stage actor... Dalton certainly had the skills to pulll off being 007.....But even an actor of his caliber can do so much with the scripts he was working with....
This all points back to the mid eighties falling off of Bond and the exiting of Roger Moore ...whom had sucessfully used antics both comedic and ill-dramtic to make Bond work and this was good for Roger Moore tenure ....but bad for the reality check Dalton was trying to convey!!!!

Dalton is a pretty good actor, but he was saddled with some tough times. First off, the cold war was over so no real big enemy. So, Columbian drug lords are ushered in (yawn). Bond was also a victim of another difficult aspect of the 80s - AIDS. So, a traditionally womanizing Bond was suddenly a bit more chaste. It just didn't sit right did it?
