Thunderball Reviews - James Bond Wiki

Perhaps the best out of all the Connery movies (in my opinion) next to Dr. No. Thunderball gives us one most memorable pre-title openers in the series. From the Gunbarrel to Sean Connery and the lady taking off in the sky, this movie delivers! The best underwater fight sequence in a Bond film or any film to date. I am glad to see the return of SPECTRE. Largo was a good villain and had a good evil plot of stealing two nuclear bombs. We still don't see Blofeld...yet the idenity of this 'voice' comes full swing in the next adventure. The theme is one of best I have heard in a long time. I find Thunderball to a relef from Goldfinger, though some others may disagree with me. Another great treat to know is that the world famous Aston Martin DB5 returns!
