He is recognized around the world as the ironic face as Sir James Bond, OO7. But here in Great Britain, Sean Connery is also a well known proud Scot, and on Monday (August 25th) he returned to his hometown of Edinburgh, Scotland to launch his autobiography.

Connery's book "Being a Scot" look at Connery's young aspect of his life as a simple milkman in Edinburgh's Fountainbridge district, then delves into a wide-range look at Scottish culture.

"It will illuminate what Fountainbridge's most famous milkmanthinks of many aspects of Scottish culture and life, including sport, architecture, and of course the gothic tendency in Scots literature," said Edinburgh International Book Festival director Catherine Lockerbie.
