  • Austrian singer and actress Lotte Lenya (1898-1981).
  • She is best remembered for her performances of the songs of her husband, the German composer Kurt Weill, her Academy Award-nominated role in The Roman Spring of Mrs Stone and various roles in Brechtian plays.

Who she is:

  • She was the head of operations of SMERSH but defected to become a member of SPECTRE.
  • She is now SPECTRE Number 3.



Evil scheme:

  • To eliminate Bond and steal the Lektor

Attempted methods of killing Bond:

  • Selects Red Grant to kill Bond.
  • Points a gun at Bond and ultimately tries to kill him with a poisoned flick-knife shoe.

How plans were foiled:

  • 007 thwarts all attemps of SPECTRE to kill him.

How she is dispatched:

  • Tatiana Romanova shoots her while she was trying to kill Bond with the poisoned flick-knife shoe.

Defining dialogue:

Fun facts:

  • In Ian Fleming's novel Rosa Klebb is a lesbian and tries to flirt with Tatiana. If you look closely in the movie, when Rosa was briefing Tatiana, she started to feel Tatiana's leg.
