Bond Singers & Songs | Rejected Bond Songs

Did you know that Alice Cooper did a demo for a title song for "The Man with the Golden Gun?" That Blondie did one for "For Your Eyes Only?"

Johnny Cash did one for "Thunderball!" (No, really!) But, did you know that Frank Sinatra almost sang the title song from "Moonraker?" Rick Astley almost sang a theme for "Octopussy?" (See how scary this can get?) Well, we don't have those last ones-they were never recorded.

  • "Thunderball" demo by Johnny Cash
  • "The Man with the Golden Gun" demo by Alice Cooper
  • Bono/The Edge demo for "Goldeneye"
  • Blondie demo "For Your Eyes Only"
  • Anthony Newley's demo for "Goldfinger"
  • "Mr. Kiss Kiss-Bang Bang" (Thunderball)

he one sung by jonny cash is a billion times better than tom jone's recording. and it's also appropriate for a western.

I like Tina turners goldeneye, but i have to say that Ace of base's demo would have worked perfectly. I heard the original version and it's great. Especially that part "Tomorrow's foe is now a friend"- is talking about 006 and how after the events that happened in the beginning he'll be the villain.
