A renowned Spanish actor who won the Academy Award of Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2007 for his role as psychopathic assassin Anton Chigurh in the acclaimed Coen Brothers film No Country for Old Men. He has also garnered critical acclaim for roles in films such as Jámon Jámon, Carne Tremula, Boca a Boca, Los lunes al sol and Mar adentro. He also played in Michael Mann's Collateral, Milos Forman's Goya's Ghosts and in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona with his current mate, Penelope Cruz.

Who he is:
A former MI6 agent in Hong Kong, his real name is Tiago Rodriguez. A genius in computer science and hacking, he turned cyberterrorist, seeking revenge against M, who sold him to the Chinese when he became uncontrollable during the transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong from the UK to China in 1997. He was tortured and tried to commit suicide with a cyanide pill but survived, horribly disfigured. He has to wear a prosthetic jaw.

Evil scheme:
To take his personal revenge against MI6, and M in particular, using his hacking talents.

Attempted methods of killing Bond:
Sending Severine's bodyguards to kill him in Macau, crushing him with a falling train in the London Underground, assaulting the Skyfall house with his men and a helicopter, throwing grenades, shooting at him.

How plans were foiled:
He ultimately succeeds in killing M but dies before she dies.

How he is dispatched:
He attacks Skyfall estate with his men and a helicopter but Bond, M and Kincade kill them all and Bond causes the helicopter to crash into the burning mansion. Bond finally throws a knife into his back.
