Quantum of Solace (video game)This is a featured page

Quantum of Solace is a core first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and produced by Activision, due out for the Playstation 3. XBox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS consoles and PC in Fall 2008. The game makes liberal use of the first-person perspective with third-person play interspersed throughout for particular action sequences (such as the construction site parkour chase scene at the beginning of Casino Royale). The game contains content derived from both the 2006 film Casino Royale and the 2008 film Quantum of Solace, and is the first video game to feature the talents of the most recent James Bond, Daniel Craig.

The Quantum of Solace video game was developed based on the Call of Duty 4 graphics engine. Call of Duty 4 is a beautifully detailed game, so we expect that the newest installment of the 007 franchise will be nothing less than graphically astounding.

Story:

Betrayed by Vesper Lynd, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M interrogate Mr White who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined. Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille, a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene, a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organization. On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world's most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano. Using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land. In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene's sinister plan and stop his organization.

I really hope that when they do another game with Daniel Craig' s Bond I hope they add all the other bonds in the mix and also add a multiplayer mode called all bonds clash.

First off, the camera, I must start with the camera. It is the most horrific camera in the history of any video game that I have ever played in my life (and there have been a lot). Though I adored Tomb Raider: Anniversary, along with Tomb Radier: Underworld, I found that they had horrible cameras and I thought it was the absolute worst...until this game! You can't even see halfway down the street because it will not let you see -- it sees only what it wants you to see, and by the time it actually lets you see something...BAM, YOU'RE DEAD.

Second, practically each time you need to shoot guys (which brings me to my third point, in a moment), the gun has to reload. If that isn't bad enough, it takes so much time to reload and all of the enemies are attacking you, and most of the time, killing you before you can ever get the stupid gun reloaded.

Third, all you freaking do is shoot people! James Bond does more than shoot people (and more than go to bed with beautiful women), and in this game, that's all you ever do. Not to mention, you're only one person and you have literally 10-15 men shooting at you at one time -- it isn't fair and it's an utter disaster. Just a poor excuse for a Bond game, or even a video game alone.

Do not buy this game, it is the most horrific one I have ever seen in my entire life. You will want to take the game, place it onto the street, take your car and run over it at least ten times (like I just did, five minutes ago!).

I loved the action and the stealth
I also think it was to short and some of the levels were kinda hard
But any way, great game
