In my opioion, Pierce Brosnan is the best of all james bond. He fits flemings description nearly perfect. He acts like a spy, he is a JAMES BOND!!!!

Brosnan is not my favorite Bond...I give that credit out of respect to Connery!!!!!!
Connery laid an standard and Moore sucessfully road the wave...Brosnan brought back vitality to an iconic character and because of that Craig gets to ride the wave. When Brosnan enter the role of 007 in 1995 Goldeneye was the 5th top grossing film the last bond film which was 6 years previous didn't even make the top 15. Brosnan reinvigorated the role leaving fans wanting more Bond and that's where Craig catches one hell of an break because Dalton didn't leave the same opportunity for Brosnan....Brosnan had to recreate it!!!!!!! |

The removal of Pierce Brosman from the role of 007 was not the first time the powers that be played an hand in hating on the man that was made for the role.
The actor's casual panache and his gift for quippery led the producers of the James Bond movies to select Pierce Brosnan as the new Bond upon the departure of Roger Moore in 1986. At the last moment, the canceled Remington Steele was renewed, and Pierce Brosnan was contractually obligated to remain with the program, forcing him to relinquish the James Bond role to one Timothy Dalton. It later became evident that the renewal of Steele was something of a subterfuge by its hater-aid producers to keep Pierce Brosnan on their leash. Im not hating on Danial Craig because he has nothing to do with corporate politics ...The job of Bond was offered and he thus accepted!!!!! Brosman brought profitability back to the Bond francaise (His Movies earned over 1.4 billion) and the way he was treated in the end was utterly distateful. |

He is a terrific actor and he would have been an ideal candidate for reinventing Bond but the producers chose to make is Bond closer to that of Roger Moore in Die Another Day. believe me, it must have taken all his guts to play the role in Die Another Day without vomiting or being convulsed in laughter. What rediculous script and it just got worse in Casino Royale. What is bIOnd coming to? next thing we know, only the gunbarrell will differenciate between Bond and Bourne.
