Operation Kid Brother "US One-Sheet"
One of the oddest chapters in the story of the Bond series is this Italian production created to cash in on the "Bond craze" of the 1960's, and starring Sean Connery's younger brother, Dr. Neil Connery. Called "OK Connery" internationally, it arrived in the U.S. under the title "Operation Kid Brother" from the Bond distributor, United Artists. Adding to the Bond cache (and insult to injury) were Bond series actors Bernard Lee ("M"), Lois Maxwell (Miss Moneypenny), Daniela Bianchi (Tatiana Romanova in From Russia With Love) , Adolfo Celi (Largo from Thunderball), and Anthony Dawson (Professor Dent from Dr. No) all appearing in the film (although as different characters). The film achieved marginal success as a curiosity, but did cause some friction for Sean Connery towards Maxwell and Lee, thinking that his brother was being exploited. He later made his peace with them, saying that their credibility helped support his brother.
Today it's hard to get it, as it was never released on DVD. However, it was featured in one episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 under the title "Operation Double 007".
