On Her Majesty's Secret Service Trailer

Synopsis: Her name was Teresa (Tracy) di Vincenzo. Bond saved her from suicide and some dangerous killers. He never forgot her. Or her murder. This all started because after Bond saved Tracy, her father, crime lord of Corsican decent, Marc Ange Draco is looking for a husband to tame his rambunctious daughter.

He sees that Bond saves her from her own fate and decides he is the best candidate. Bond would say no, save for one thing: Draco has information on Ernst Stavro Blofeld's whereabouts. So 007 takes a visit to the Royal College of Arms and receives information that Blofeld has been asking for the title of Count De Bleuchamp. Sir Hilary Bray has been in contact with Blofeld, under the perceived name, Count de Bleuchamp. Blofeld also has had plastic surgery to alter his appearance entirely.

He also has had his earlobes cut off to resemble the noticeable characteristic of the de Bleuchamp family. After the visit to the college, Bond fakes his identity and becomes Sir Hilary Bray and pretends to be visiting Blofelds "clinic" in the Swiss Alps. He arrives and is greeted warmly where he meets Blofeld's "patients." Girls from all over the world have come to this mountain-top "clinic" to "cure food allergies." Little to their knowledge, they are being brainwashed to release samples of "Virus Omega" that will destroy the world's crops and animals. Of course, Bond is successful in stopping Blofeld, but only after a harrowing escape.

Bond later proposes to Tracy. After their wedding, Blofeld, seeking revenge on Bond, murders Tracy in a drive by shooting.

The film opens with Moneypenny, M and Q discussing the whereabouts of Bond. Bond is in Portugal, driving on a coastal highway when he is overtaken by a woman in a Mercury Cougar . Bond follows the woman to a beach where she attempts suicide by drowning herself. He drives down to the beach and saves the woman's life by carrying her back to the beach. As he brings the woman back to consciousness and introduces himself, two thugs try to kill them. After the fight, the woman runs to her car and speeds away. He finds out that the woman's name is Contessa Teresa "Tracy" di Vicenzo. She invites him to her hotel room to "thank him" for his help. When he visits Tracy's room later, a thug emerges behind Bond. Bond knocks him out then goes back to his room where he finds Tracy. Tracy threatens to kill Bond for a thrill, however Bond disarms her and questions her about the thug in her room. Tracy has nothing to say.

The following morning, Tracy leaves the hotel. As Bond leaves the hotel, several men kidnap him and lead him to Marc-Ange Draco, the head of the European crime syndicate Unione Corse, whom Bond recognizes immediately. Draco reveals that Tracy is his only daughter and tells Bond of her troubled past, offering Bond a personal dowry of one million pounds if he will marry her. Bond refuses, but agrees to continue romancing Tracy under the agreement that Draco reveals the whereabouts of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the head of SPECTRE.

Bond returns to MI6 but is told by M that he has been relieved from duty, and then Bond resigns. After M accepts the letter, Bond learns that as Moneypenny was recording his dictation, she changes the wording to request two weeks leave instead. Realizing he can pursue Blofeld on his time off and not be forced to quit MI6, Bond thanks Moneypenny and heads for Draco's birthday party in Portugal. There, Tracy discovers Bond's deal with her father and demands that the charade end and her father provide Bond with the information he requested. Draco tells Bond that his next line of pursuit should be a law firm in Bern, Switzerland. After a brief argument, Bond and Tracy's romance begins.

Bond and Tracy go to Bern with Draco to investigate the lawyer's connection with Blofeld. Searching the law office, Bond finds Blofeld's correspondence with the London College of Arms. Blofeld is attempting to claim the title "Comte Balthazar de Bleuchamp" to legitimize his standing in society. His College of Arms correspondent is genealogist Sir Hilary Bray. Bond visits M at home and is granted permission to officially take up the investigation of Blofeld again.

Bond is caught trying to sleep with Ruby Bartlett by Blofeld's henchwoman, Irma Bunt. Bond's disguise as Bray fails, and he is identified by Blofeld. Bond escapes imprisonment, skiing down Piz Gloria, arriving at the village of Mürren, where he encounters Tracy. A blizzard forces them to retreat into a remote barn where Bond declares his love for Tracy and proposes marriage to her. Tracy accepts Bond's marriage proposal. The next morning, Blofeld captures Tracy while leaving Bond to die in a man-made avalanche, which Bond survives.

Blofeld holds the world at ransom with the threat of destroying its agriculture using his brainwashed women and demanding amnesty for all past crimes. He also demands to be recognized as the current Count de Bleauchamp. Bond enlists Draco and his forces to attack Blofeld's headquarters and successfully frees Tracy from Blofeld's captivity. The raid is successful as Bond and Blofeld are the last to escape before the institute is destroyed. The pair engage in a bobsled chase down Piz Gloria. Eventually, Blofeld is snared between a fork in a tree while Bond drives away in the bobsled. Bond and Tracy finally get married, but as they drive away, Bond stops to remove the flowers from his car and at that moment, Blofeld and Bunt pass the couple in a car. Bunt takes aim and shoots Tracy, killing her instantly.

A very beautiful movie in its own way. The only bad note is Lazenby not returing as 007. Would have been a good Bond. Luv, ERN ( 008 )
