Oddjob

Harold Sakata was not a Olympic wrestler, but a silver medal winning weight lifter, and unlike his Odd Jod character in real life, when Harold was training for the Olympics in York Penn. at the York Gym, he was said to walk to the gym every day barefoot in the snow and singing all the way, all statements made of Harold of the time was that he was a happy, very friendly person. And later a very loved family man, who just happened to play out the role of Odd Job again in the pro wrestling ring. I in many ways found it sad the a caring man and great champion of the Olympics due to his suze and prehapes race had to play out the role of a villian to work. When watching Sean Connery once on the tonight show Connery was asked about injuries whille filming Bond pictures, Connery recounted his worse injury was running into Harold Sakata's hand while filming their fight scene.
Harold would also go on to paly a side kick to a hunter ( Rory Calhoun)on Gilligan's Island who states he's "to soft hearted to spear a woman", Harold Sakata should be thought of as more then a heartless villian with a iron hat.

The name, the hat, the killing stylings...will any Bond villan ever exceed OddJob? I loved the marvelous send up of 'Random Task' in Austin Powers. Brilliant.
