Dalton started out doing Lifetime movies. His interest was always the stage, and films came second--hey, when your first film is with Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn, it's all down-hill from there! He did his Byronian bit--Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, but as far as film, Dalton has demonstrated he doesn't give a rip. He's made all the money he wants to. He does work for the stage and any project that he might have fun with, like sending up Bond in the "Looney Tunes" movie, or "Hot Fuzz."
These days, he's not hustling.
